Thats exactly why I am less worried about this defense than in 2004. Now lets hope Tressel doesn't go into turtle mode too early in games like in 2004. Playing conservatively up by a TD or more is fine with a great defense but not with this defense early in the season. That is my only worry.
You are not the only that noticed. Usually TNT has the best camera work for NBA, way better than ABC. ABC needs to zoom in more, especially in college football and NBA games. But, the camera work was terrible last night on TNT for the 1st game. Couldn't see the ball handler most of the time and...
ESPN is terrible at the draft. They will give a lot of info on the first 15 picks. Once the 2nd round starts, all ESPN talks about is the 1st round picks. The 2nd day is pretty much joke with the way ESPN covers it. I want to see more analysis on those picked in 2nd day. I have already heard...
Joe Montgomery (averaged like 7 yards a carry) getting injured against Minnesota and being inside the 10 three times and not scoring a TD against scUM puts them behind 1995 and 1998. The 1996 offense was outstanding the first 4 games and 8 of the 9 games to start season. Offensively, the Penn...
The 2002 offense shouldn't be on this poll. The 2nd half of the season the offense was dreadful to watch.
I would take the 1995 offense slightly over the 1998 offense because of the offensive line and penalties. The 1998 team would rack up the penalties. The 1995 team had 5th year senior QB...
I would have but the Seahawks hadn't picked yet. I wasn't going to sit here all night and wait for the Seahawks to pick. No biggie because I was going to pick Eslinger anyways.
How is the league keeping the Saints down? The schedule is predetermined and based on what division you are in and what place you end up in the division. The way teams go from 6-10 to 10-6 now, that schedule will probably not end up being the 3rd toughest by the end of the season.
If Ohio State does this then this season will be similar to 2004 and offenses similar from 2002 to early 2005. That is not playing to your strengths. Ohio State is going to have to score points, while breaking in 9 new defensive starters. You play that field position game when you have a great...
And to think Aldridge wanted to go pro out of high school and there are rumors he will go pro after this season. He can't handle LSU's front line, how is he going to handle NBA front lines? I don't know there is something about him as player that I don't like. He will dominant non-physical front...
