They’ll start slow, it’s just a matter of how deep they dig the hole. Should be able to move the ball, but their defense needs to show up early and prevent a couple 60 yd runs.
Won’t be surprised if they blow it, but this year Michigan can’t play dead and it exposes their defense. Went from...
I understand Washington not being higher than ~15, but they would obviously be a borderline top 10 team if they were in the SEC. No reason to not have them ~20th.
My hope is that a wrinkle will be the use of heavy formations with TEs swaped for WRs or FB for RBs to get matchup advantages.
Won’t win the game but could help. Wouldn’t mind them going 4/5 wide as a change up, but the backup WRs haven’t gotten much play.
Anything that leans more creative and...
Can’t believe that didn’t just petrify the original turtle. What happened to tradition???
Loved seeing Smith in at the goaline with 3 TEs. Makes it a lot harder to commit to the run. Great release too. Needs more touches but that’s nothing new.
On pace for 80/1010/14, and he’s due for a few...
The definition of an entertaining team to watch with no ability to pull through in big moments and win the tough games.
Love that Miami’s huge wins are now USF and an ND team with a defense that couldn’t find its ass with both hands.
Yeah I thought he’d get better after a change from CHI but unfortunately not. At least he has good money and can maybe bounce around for a few more seasons.
I feel bad for Allar getting injured, but it’s funny thinking anyone failed him. He has great physical ability but barely improved through 3 years. They never had great WRs but enough talent surrounding him to be a lot better than he was.
I’ll grant him the great DL they had, but it doesn’t sound better that they had to load up on grads while cheating their asses off to finally win in the CFP. Also, it was the weakest CFP field in recent memory.
In 20 years that’ll be the funniest part. They sold their souls and it still took...
I’ve never seen media, announcers, whoever completely ignore egregious violations much less blatant cheating. It’s such a black mark on the sport that it’s radioactive.
Hoping Day and co. have more saved up for them this year. Their defense is not good enough, or shouldn’t be good enough, for a concentrated effort to be stopped.
