Him and MH Jr. could certainly make a case for themselves right now with the combo of yards and TD's. Not a lot of guys in the top 10 of those 2 categories that I would rather have than those two.
w/ a healthy JSN?.......look out
Correct me if I'm wrong..... didn't he end up getting called for a personal foul on that too? Rediculous. Should have been a completion, legal hit, fumble and a TD.
what happened at the end of the game? Was in the car and listening to it on the radio. Did he just trip and ball got dislodged on the way to the ground?
I'm sure Chip will do a fine job in EE's absence while currently playing a bigger role in the offense, but damn, Emeka was so close (he actually did) to having the 1st return TD for the Buckeyes in a long time. Didn't he get one called back last year too?
EE is a game-breaker waiting to...
Several? I'd take just one. It's been a hot minute since we've had one. Jalin Marshall, I believe? Hard to fathom it's been that long with as much talent that has come through OSU in recent years.
......and Emeka doesn't play defense. Him not playing had nothing to do w/ Haskins scoring 4 rushing TD's. They beat us up on both LOS.
I agree that he was missed on ST's, but don't think that would have been enough to swing or change the outcome of that game.
yeah, and my thought is they may be giving Flemming 1st crack at #3 bc of his time in the program and bc Emeka is presumed to be so highly involved in the ST's. Don't get me wrong.... they are both extremely talented and would surely be #1 or #2 in most programs across the country.
I was more...
That's a positive sign. Impressive if he's been able to hold off Emeka throughout Spring and Fall camps. Egbuka was my pick right after the Rose Bowl to be the next breakout star in that room. I still think he is going to have a tremendous year, but it looks as if it might be the ST's...
Sounds like they are super-thin at WR.....Healthy bodies, experience and production. Stuff the run and get pressure on the QB and make life easy for the DB's.
Agreed, you just took the time to articulate what I was thinking. I don't think anyone with reason is expecting the Buckeye hoopsters to make the final 4 every year..... that's what our expectations are for the Buckeye football program though. But bc of the sheer amount of teams in D1...
Ouch. I thought I would be labeled as the debbie-downer suggesting only 2.5. I was affraid to go lower..... but I only see a possible 2 as well with Bonsu being the best bet and a DE, maybe?
Wish we were in on a few more outside body-types on the OL at this stage with such a position of need...
