I have U-verse... much better than TW imo. There's a thread on this topic in the gen. board if you want to read more about it... long story short, Uverse is cheaper and offers more channels than TW.

lawyers are whores (or in Spitzers case, they also "hire" them). Wouldn't it be great if the folks that brought the case against the Doc's could be counter sued and loose their fortunes for clogging the legal system... A case of nothing to lose, everything to gain...

losing 2.5k per year stinks... gaining 20 hours of your life back each week is well worth it imo.... I'd trade 5k a year for 20 extra hours a week in a heartbeat...

interesting timing... I just ordered U-verse this morning... if all goes to plan, TW will be dropped next week (make sure U-verse works before I dump TW). For those interested, U-verse is now available in central Ohio. They are running a special that expires 2/18 (one month free, plus $50...

If you like bbq ribs (and don't have heart problems:tongue2:) eat at Hustons. There are a coulpe of them in LA... GREAT ribs!! (They actually soak the meat in bacon lard for several days before they cook the meat)...

We returned last night... a few comments: 1. New Orleans ranks right up there with Vegas in regards to being a "part town"... we had a blast in the city!! 2. Abita beer is a bit tart... I like Sam Adams and Bass... Abita isn't anything near a nice lager... 3. The Folks of New Orleans...

I agree, I'm sure you can pickup a "junk" ticket for $500... considering the tickets are $175 face value (plus the stupid "processing fee") that isn't bad at all...

I know a person who sold a pair to a ticket broker for $1,300 for the pair in section 642 (45 yard line... upper deck). Those tickets were going for $2,500 for the pair on stubhub a couple weeks ago... ticket prices have def. come down... Due to the LSU home game factor I doubt tickets will...
