not sure if your aware, but that comment cuts both ways...
we can fire the entire staff and dump every kid on scholly if people so desire. though i would be curious to hear what positive end results would be expected of any such, or similar, courses of action.
this is a really good point. i can't think of a particularly "bad" day for worley this season. he's had bad plays sure, but i can't think of a single game where he didn't play at a really high level from what i can tell on tv. he has been surprisingly consistent with above average play. i want...
it really is. there are only so many refs and when you figure there is almost certainly at least one hold on every play... you almost have to sell that your being held for the officials to actually do anything about it. enforcing holds in football is about as scientific as enforcing speed limits...
so no grade school kids then? or just not curtis samuel when he was in grade school? is there someone in particular we should try back there for the second half on a cold snowy day in a critical game?
completely agree here. you would think up tempo would really help. the problem our oline is having from what i can tell is the problem they have had all year(those more experienced with the oline play can weigh in). but our freshmen olinemen really lack the desired upper body strength you would...
rofl! please provide me the name of the grade school punt returner who can put those fundamentals into play when retreating from their 30 yrd line to inside their own 5 for a punt on the fly. that in and of itself isn't going to happen in high school but whatever. but just so we're talking...
thats because this is the best way to play an offense like ours...?? ive been trying to explain this for years now. you want to beat our offense? the defensive concept isn't complex. tight coverage man, use your lb's or safeties to attack the tb/qb (whoever is more dangerous with the ball in...
probably best to NOT count yard markers when your standing past the twenty and end up back peddling inside the 5 to make the catch. guys who have been handling punts for years know not to do this. guys who haven't handled more than a handful of punts in the last 3 years typically speaking, do not.
??? everyone bitched about a change needing to be made. so we put a guy back there that hasnt' returned a punt in a game in 3 years. during a cold snowy day he looses where he is on the field on a bomb of a punt and drops the ball in traffic. *shrug* thats kinda why you don't make specialist...
needs to be reviewed
ewww..... 50/50 on what way they will go on that one.. looked like a non fumble at full speed. in slowmo... not sure they will overturn.
first time i have seen a team play us borderline dirty physical wise. we are not responding to it well so far. will be interesting to see how that plays out through penalties and physical level of play.
its not just tOSU's lb's. i kind of think its part of a technique that is taught to "plug the hole". when i played lb i typically refused to do it preferring to pick a side to deny the rb and putting my opposite forarm violently into the earhole of whoever was foolish enough to come try to block...
so its clear none of them have ever signed any form of responsibility to report agreement of any type on any level. in fact, their comprehension of the law period seems to begin and end with "innocent until proven guilty". which i have to say is really just wildly incomplete. do they actually...
