I honestly think this "targeting" rule can be too harsh sometimes. The hit from Wade isn't something that would have been a foul 20 years ago. That would have just been a regular football play. Sometimes players can't help with where their head is when making a hit like that.
With a few more recruiting classes, I'm confident Riley and Grinch will have this defense back to being at a championship-level. The f*cking Stoops brothers really screwed us over all these years.
This Buckeye defense is kryptonite to opposing pocket QBs. Too much speed all around is overwhelming this offense that hasn't faced much competition this year.
We had no business even being in the playoff this year. LSU just had better talent than us and our normally dominant offensive line got physically pushed around this entire fucking game! As much as I've cheered on Jalen in his one year as a Sooner, I'm actually happy he's leaving so OU can have...
I was in Miami back in 2005 when OU decided not to show up for the championship game against USC. I thought that performance was bad, this one is far worse.
Unfortunately so. With two starters out and another one ejected, this game is pretty much over for us.
Congrats, @Nutriaitch. I know you'll want to rub it in, but I'm just going to be the first to say that you guys were the far superior team on the field today. Good luck next week vs. Clemson...
