There is a difference between hyperbole and the blatant missuse of scientific terms in an argument. As for time travel, while there is no evidence suggesting that time travel for humans is possible, I haven't given up on the idea completely. I even have written a screenplay that has time travel...

As a physicist I must point out that elastic collisions, or something even close to elastic between human bodies is an impossibility. They are all inelastic since not all energy is transferred. You might try rephrasing it, as that statemenst makes no sense whatsoever.

I certainly don't think it will be a low scoring game, just that tOSU will not break 22 points without having more than the 3 turnovers they had last year.

Players on both sides of the ball have improved since then.

With most of the UT defense and tOSU offense back from last year, I can't see tOSU scoring more points this year without having more turnovers than last year (+2).

    Official Texas Visiting Thread

Even if a majority of the clubs on 6th are 21 and up there are plenty of places that are 18 and up. If a place looks interesting just ask the doorman or see if they are doing wrist bands. Some shittier places resort to putting black Xs on the back of their hands with magic markers, which sucks...

I'm fine with that. I decided to lay low for a while since I want to stick around 'til after the game. I do think that saying the UT receivers are the best in the country is a bit over the top, although they have the potential to be in a couple years. The two most talented ones (Shipley...

Excuse me if I missed it in the last few pages of mostly forgetable posts, but the UT Freshman class of 2006 arrived and there is an article and pictures up on Mack's site...

What big games? Of the 23 top 5 matchups that UT has been in only 1 was played in Austin and that was over 35 years ago. We don't make much noise because there is no reason to most of the time. The crowd will show up for this game. If you've been to an OU game in the cotton bowl you know the...

True, but the April time was wind added and seeing that he has improved beyond that leads me to believe that he is capable of going sub 10.10, eventually. We will see what he does at the Regional meet this weekend and I'll get back to you then.

His 100m PR before this season was 10.69 (FAT) as a HS Junior. I never expected to see this level of improvement from him, even less so over the course of a single season. His 6.65 60m made me think that he would get to the low 10.3s, but not in the high 10.1s. With his progression it is...

I was aware that the World Record is still 9.77 as pointed out. I am also aware that the six fastest make the olympic team, and the six fastest in the US last year were. Gaitlin 9.88 Scott 9.94 Crawford 9.99 Green 10.01 Jelks 10.02 Dix 10.06 It only takes a 10.06 in the Olympic trials final to...

I hope to see him run next season without the pulled hamstring problem. After getting a 10.23 pulling up the last 5 meters, I think he could run a 10.0 if he was healthy. I hope he does well in the NCAA meets, but I'm worried that he will have to withdraw at some point.

Just because he would not have had 10 touches a game does not mean that he isn't a big loss, because he is. Only the other hand those 10 touches will be spread mostly between Charles, Young, Ross, Cosby, Pittman, Shipley and Sweed, and I don't feel bad about any of those options.

While he certainly is a weapon that will be missed, it was getting increasing difficult to get him on the field. Do you pull Charles at RB to put in Taylor? Not unless he needs to rest. Taylor is not as good and is prone to negative yardage plays. Would Taylor takes snaps form Selvin? This is...

That's funny, I'm doing the same thing. As for those who question TD statistics, it is the person with the ball in their hands as they cross the plane who scores the TD, the receiver in the case of a pass. A quarterback can get a TD accounted for, but he didn't score it. The latest news on...

No it means now UTs returning players accounted for 48 TDs rsushing and receiving last year, compared to 28 for tOSU. I think it is hilarious that anyone beleives a defensive unit as green as yours is better than UTs. As an aside Jamaal just ran a wind legal 10.23 100 meter to win the Big 12...

That's OK. Cedric also had a pot bust go away for lack of evidence it was his, and we had a 4 star runningback Eric Hardeman get busted dealing a few months after getting kicked off the team. He is (or maybe was) doing hard time. I'm not sure what's up with our runningbacks. I also don't know...
