He would be in my top 3 favorite Buckeyes if he breaks a Dorsey tackle, jukes out Highsmith, stiffarms Steltz, scores, stares down the LSU bench, and then has a seat like nothing just happened.
Badass.
He doesn't get off blocks very well. He's a beast, I love him, and a great player, but he got trucked by Tebow last year and was having a lot of problems shedding the blocks this year.
I guess I kind of sounded pretty bad. Heh. I'm thinking of the PSU game where a fullback on Laurinaitis shut...
I don't consider Holliday a RB. He's like Percy Harvin or Reggie Bush (or Brandon Saine)...an all-around, RB/WR/wingback/slotback/multiback/superman do everything player. He's no every-down back, and never will be, so let's just call him a WR who takes sweeps :P
Hey bro, don't get nervous. What happens, happens. But this team has played its best ball when the head was on. Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State...and even Illinois. Granted we didn't beat Illinois, but when they had to come from behind, the offense started to become pretty much...
I wouldn't be surprised to see a healthy bit of Henton.
Remember in 2004 we threw the Shot-Ginn at Les Miles and he was completely stumped. The wildhog owned him pretty bad this year. He's never figured out how to stop it. The Ray-gun with some option work between Henton and Ray Small would...
I really just don't see how LSU has the weapons to light up this defense. They don't have the speed at RB, and their offense is more designed to run pro sets, spread passing...and some option. But this team has been dominant against spread option attacks all year. As long as they don't throw the...
In my mind I just keep thinking about the Beanie that showed up when the team was losing it against Michigan State. I think about the Beanie that showed up when Wisconsin was up by 7 in the Shoe. I think about the Beanie who, after letting down "his" seniors, rallied "his" team to send those...
One comment by an analyst during the Illinois basketball game last night occurred when Matt Terwilliger was going off, getting rebounds and playing strong basketball. He said that when you practice against Greg Oden, you're bound to improve drastically in a single year.
Well, Vernon Gholston is...

I'm doing some number crunching to figure out what % of each team's losses...
Have to laugh at Stoops pulling a Woody on this, swearing he was being spied on.
Tressel kept his boys at home for longer too. He said somewhere that he thinks it's better to keep them away, that he felt going to Tempe so soon was a distraction. So I like that theory, the distractions one.
Thanks for the updates, guys. I can't get the game, so try to keep me informed. Sounds like we're holding our own pretty damn well considering we didn't match up so well.
Billick is too stubborn and egotistical to give Troy a shot. It's unfortunate, because Troy is the ultimate competitor and would like nothing more than to play harder than any QB has ever played before to win that starting spot, but he'll not get that shot this year.
The smile on his face was pure Troy. He ran it in, and he had that goofy grin on his face like he's in his back yard when he was 12 playing two-hand-tag with his friends. It's almost like he doesn't care that he may never see the field again, he got his opportunity to shine and took it.
I hope...
Beanie's 235 lbs of muscle, speed and balance. Glenn Dorsey or no Glenn Dorsey, he's going to break arm tackles at the line, he's going to run over DBs, and he can make linebackers miss. Ask Shawn Crable. Ask Brandon Englemon. Ask the poor kid on Washington who got tossed halfway to Hawaii...
