Gotta second the recommendation for GRRM's books. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's as good as Tolkien, but it's a quality series. The part that does remind me of Tolkien is that while there are supernatural elements to it, it's much more character driven than most sword-and-sorcery type...

True triathlete answer: It's always the bike's fault. ;)
I'm training for the Cap City Half Marathon in four weeks here in Columbus. I've been working on my running all winter, so hoping for a big new PR. After that it'll be tri season again, but no big races on the schedule this year...
I hope you're right, but I have a bad feeling that more UT fans will be there than Buckeye fans. We're out of town this weekend, so no help here. :(
Sounded like Tennessee was beatable last night. Hopefully that's the case next week as well.
Moving over to the "women's" side of UM hoops for a second:
:slappy:at Michigan's season ending at the hands of Eastern Michigan last night. Hey, they DID finish third in the MAC west...and don't feel bad, you're still the second best team in the greater Ann Arbor area.
I think the seed is about right, in the sense that MSU is also a 4. Hard to put us too far below after beating them three times. Frankly, this is about as good a draw as we could hope...no UConn, no Baylor.
Other thoughts:
Georgia Tech will have a hostile crowd playing an underdog BGSU...
