I agree one hundred percent with this. Berry was probably athletic enough for corner, but was such a playmaker at safety that you had to put him there. Similarly, the Buckeyes would place Jenkins at a centerfield safety position when in nickel to take advantage of his playmaking skills. I can...

Absolutely excited about this kid. UFM loves playing man-press with his corners and I think Woodard and Burrows will fit the bill perfectly. No more standing 12 yards off the WR like Howard.

Don't take me wrong, I do agree with you that taking the kids opinion doesn't mean anything in regards to how OSU ranks them. I do think it can show when a staff is backing off of a kid some, like we did with Diamond or Neal.

Your example here is entirely not valid to the two recruits you are talking about. Isaac and Green aren't exactly that far apart talent wise and both have ridiculous offer lists. When comparing two very similarly ranked players and one says that we are recruiting him the hardest out of his 20...

Green says we are recruiting him the hardest. Isaac says we aren't. Granted, this is based just on what the kids are saying, but if true that's very telling.

Probably true. The thing is, UFM doesn't classify a lot of these kids as RBs. Just like Diggs, he classifies a lot of the speedy, shifty guys as a hyrbid position. So he will most likely take a true RB (Green, Isaac, Smith) and then 1 more hybrid (remember, he already has Marshall in this role)...

Think of it as a place holder establishing Urb's interest. If the kid camps and shows he can throw/suit up at another position in an elite manner, the offer will become commitable.

Agree with this as well. If Burrows is finished growing, I think he definitely ends up at corner. If he grows any, though, he's still make an excellent safety. I kinda see Day sticking to corner or wr mostly. I don't know if he brings the physicality enough for safety. At least according to...

Agree with that order. Day is the least polished of the group IMO. Out of the three, though, I think Day is the most versatile. Could easily see him returning kicks or playing offense.
