I’ve seen enough of TCUN to know it’s going to be a really tough game to win. Very physical defensive front 7, physical run game, and the QB is going to be a problem one day.
That said, they aren’t very deep and they’ve been limping off the field all game up front. They’re going to get their...
Good on OU to answer… much better aligned there that series (and most all game). That seems to be an issue with BVs defenses. They’ll do some weird formations that leave them unsound if the right play is called.
For example that run by TCUN was similar to the JK runs against Clemson
my OCD is just dying because of that INT though lol.
Seriously though, he’s always in control it seems like. Just sees the game pretty quick and combine that with his quick throw and he’s something.
Even against Grambling he was throwing some into zones between people. Sure there were a few...
Not sure what to make of the defense so far? Not much pressure unless we blitz but when we do that their QB has a nice quick release. I like their QB he’s pretty good all things considered
Well hard to say for sure but having watched Texas this first half.
The fact we didn’t turn the ball over shows just how concerned we were with it. Texas has forced three straight turnovers in today’s game to set up short drives. Also our game last week was the first time they hadn’t forced a...
Yes. The run game we can slowly develop but the experience is at the skill position. Have to get Sayin 2-2.5 quarters of work. If we don’t have 49 points by the midway point of the 3rd we didn’t take enough shots lol
That’s what I’d like to see… those 20+ yard chunk plays. Get down the field quick.
I get needing to work 2 tight ends and moving people off the ball etc. but that can be worked on in the red zone. Getting down the field in a hurry would be something I’d take away as a positive.
On defense...
