    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Hafner pinch hits with the bases loaded and hits the ball 2 feet for a double play, catcher to first. He's done. Hold this lead Betancort!

Looking good all-around tonight, with Martinez hitting 3rd and Pronk on the bench. Hopefully Wedge doesn't stick Pronk back there when he plays again. Shoppach looks like he deserves more time... I'd like to see more of him at C and Martinez at 1st/DH.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Hafner is a dead spot in the lineup, and Wedge continues to hit him #3. Our DH, the guy we pay to hit, hasn't done it in a long time, he needs to be dropped in the lineup. Even if we drop him it doesn't really matter, this team is in trouble. The only consistent bright spot has been the...

Laffey looked solid, just got himself into a bit of trouble w/ those bs hits. Time to start considering dealing one of our young arms for a bat?

    Cleveland Browns (2008 Season)

Great points on trading away the picks. I like what we did with our draft this year, other than not getting a corner. I would guess Savage has something up his sleeve. I was also wondering why we kept trading with the Cowboys... very strange.

Delucci is our leadoff hitter?!?!? Has there ever been a slower leadoff hitter in the history of baseball? Good thing CC's on the mound today, hopefully he brings the stuff he had in his last outing. Edit: Immediately after I post this, Delucci leads off with a hit. He's still slow though.

Bats are awake tonight, and Carmona is pitching great again. Michaels' average is skyrocketing all the way up to .143! This would be a much needed win, could help us turn it around.

    Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

Was at the game today, great day for some baseball. I know its a tradition at Wrigley, but I would've kept Griffey's blast! He hit it about 15 feet away from me in the bleachers, and the guy that threw it back tossed it about 60 feet or so. Idiot!

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Anyone know why Byrd was taken out after only 6 innings and 78 pitches (according to cbssportsline.com)? He was doing great. Julio comes on and walks 2 guys real quick. Come on bullpen, hold this lead!

Right now. No more of this bullshit. If I got into shape I could serve up some 83 mph meat. Borowski is flat out garbage.

Great game by Lee! What a turnaround he has been, lets hope he keeps it up. Bats woke up a little bit today, good job of hitting by Sizemore and Hafner.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

He makes a lot of baffling moves, but I always that thought it was basic lineup strategy to hit your best guy third. Though it probably wouldn't make much of a difference with the way we're hitting as a team. Its still real early. And at least we're not 2-9 like the Tigers. But things need...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Well we get within 1 then Perez opens the floodgates for them. We had the bases loaded with 1 out and we get 1 run after Delucci walks. That's not getting it done. Question for you guys though... I was always taught that the best hitter in the lineup should hit 3rd, and then the most powerful...

And just as we are getting back into it and the bats just might be waking up... rain delay! At least the bullpen has done very well today.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

I like the sounds of this! Not much to lose with the way those guys are playing with some solid potential benefits. Like exhawg said though, they'd need a good string of games of starting in order to evaluate them. Not just 3 or 4, but more like 20-30 at least IMO.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

One thing definitely not helping Francisco get called up to get PT over Michaels and Delucci: he's hitting .174 in AAA. Michaels and Delucci aren't our only offensive problems though... Cabrera , Hafner, Blake (.185) and Guitierrez (.154) are all hitting below .240. Blake also has 3 errors...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Alright! According to MLB's Gameday we get Delucci in LF AND Michaels in RF!!! With Victor on the bench, this is gonna be a tough one... but Go Tribe!

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Michaels and Dellucci are a combined 1 for 23. That's not worthy of the 2-hole or any other spot in the damn lineup for the matter. I guarantee Fransisco or Choo (if he wasn't hurt) could be doing better than 1 for 23. Hell I'd bet we have someone in AA who could produce more than that.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

That call was correct, and listening to the Sox announcers go apeshit afterwards was hilarious. Unfortunately here in Chicago I have to put with their crap, but its worth it to catch the Tribe the few times I can. The call on Crede at the plate looks like it was missed by the ump, he looked...
