RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Simple cross multiplication gives... 1600/70 = x/100 x = 2286 yards + Heisman Just kidding around of course, my guess is 1750. Damn I can't wait for the season to start...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Well, hopefully Byrd's trade value has increased after tonight... dropped his ERA under 5. Nice to see this team still can put a solid game like this in on occasion.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

So the management has conceded that the season is over... so why the fuck is Delucci still playing??? Sit his ass down and play the younger guys who might be able to contribute in the future.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Because its his job to pretend his team still has a chance. Unfortunately the upper management of this team seems to be putting up the same front. Hopefully they are shopping players and seeing what they can get for guys who will not be a part of this team's future. I'm headed to the game...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

After getting swept by the miserable Rockies, this season is finished. I agree w/ tsteele, except I'd also like to see us hold on to Fransisco, Laffey, and maybe Choo.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Who the hell are these guys? Their numbers thus far at AAA are terrible, I am almost to the point where I'd like to shut it down too. Start shopping CC and some of the other guys who won't fit into long-term plans.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Agreed, 100%. Also, I know its been discussed here before, but I'm also now in favor of sending down Cabrera. His fielding was his only bright spot yet he had 2 potentially costly errors yesterday. His average just sits in the upper .180s. Bring up Barfield, give him another chance, and...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

I can't even imagine this team putting together a game like that right now. It is painful to watch/follow this team right now. Borowski was just activated and it might help... which says a lot about the state of the bullpen. Even if some guys start to turn things around, this team is so far...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

I agree with most of that post except for the above. We're not that far out of it, there are still over 100 games to be played. Maybe I'm just being naive about it, but I'm still holding out hope. We just need to get the wheels moving here very soon...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

I have a solution for bullpen help... A guy I went to high school with is the closer for AA Akron. Randy Newsome was the player to be named later in the Coco Crisp trade (that's gotta be a cool story to tell.) He's 1-0 with 13 saves and a 0.95 ERA. Last year his combined A and AA stats were...

Blake and Carroll strike out looking??? Down by 1 in the 9th, you HAVE to swing the bat with 2 strikes. I think I learned that in little league. At least Sizemore went down hacking.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Koybayashi is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities, and has a 1.86 ERA. Plus all sorts of experience closing in Japan. He gets my vote. I am NOT looking forward to the return of Joe Blow. Fransisco needs to start every day now. Some other guys (Peralta, Garko, even Hafner to a slight extent)...

Now that's the way a Cy Young winner pitches! This run by the starters is amazing.

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

CC's at 100 pitches, 8 excellent innings... I say we bring him back out there for the 9th. Not cashing in earlier with the bases loaded and none out makes this game a lot closer than it should be.

    Thank you Garko!!!

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Anyone that can hit better than Peralta's current .205 strip? I'd rather have Guiterrez or Fransico there right now. This offense is pitiful. We have 6 very good innings from Byrd and only 1 run to support him. I keep telling myself they're going to pull out of it but the team continues to...

    Indians Tidbits (2008 season)

Big Win! Just can't say enough about how much Cliff Lee has meant to this team. Despite how bad some guys have played, Lee still has us in a decent spot. Some of the other guys are showing signs of turning it around. There is hope.
