The last national OOS tackle that was really highly rated that I can remember was NPF, who had an outstanding career here. However, that was not very recent. Donovan Jackson counts if you consider him an OT.
As for Cantwell, pretty sure they hit the eject button once they saw the clear bidding...
Going to have to watch more OSU LAX moving forward, having quite the season. Really awesome to see Coach Myers is still at the helm, great guy. Big congrats on winning the B1G regular season title!
Well I think yours guys pick at #2 is a pretty easy choice with Hunter. In terms of Milroe, I can't comprehend why he is projected so high. I wouldn't take him before Day 3...I've seen him play and he is prone to disaster with his decision making and vacillating accuracy. I would much rather...
Agreed on each point. There are two guys I really wish could go down a weight class, those being Bouzakis and Feldman...but neither is likely and cutting that much might hurt their wrestling more than it would help dropping down a weight. I think Kharch is done as well and Paddy would really...
Difference to me is that Day doesn't seem to actively influence or encourage players one way or the other unless there is something behind closed doors I don't know about. Seems like a lot of veteran players chose to commit to God by their own volition and use football as a platform to spread...
Landing Dean would make me feel really good about this OL class and would be a huge steal from the south. At that point adding another top-notch OT to Greer would make this a really well rounded OL class (we would likely add 1-2 more, but that would be a great nucleus). Lets get this one in the...
Really nice get in the portal, Stiles is a good one and has plenty of eligibility left. I would view this as basically getting D'Emilio back, but with 3 years left and more upside.
@MPhillips do you think we have a decent shot on Fishback? That would be another big one that could really pay...
Ty was shooting into an ocean last night. I haven't watched much of the Cavs this year but they seem very well rounded and have some serious shooters. Defense isn't lacking either, looking forward to watching them continue in the playoffs.
I don't think the staff has given this kid a second thought in some time, so good luck wherever he lands. We add Hill to Weatherspoon, and we are most of the way there to another great CB class (will likely add one more though).
Really nice pickup, welcome aboard Brock! I trust Hartline completely and this kid is a burner that with some time in the S&C program and refining his game with Hartline, he could be very good. Plus all those stats he put up were against very good competition I believe (anyone who knows Texas HS...
Really nice transfer pickup, glad to see Ryan be proactive there. I think Chittum to 165 is more likely but that could go either way. You'll see Chittum/Cannon at 157/165 next year in whatever order. AA is reasonable, not a given but he should have a good shot at getting on the podium.
A couple days late here, but that was an epic finish and I am so happy for Rory. Had a Masters party on Sunday and made some pretty delicious pimento cheese sandwiches and other Masters classics. Great way to end the weekend. Now its time to get out and actually play some golf.
Do the increased scholarship limits kick in this year? We only have one year of Donaldson and maybe 3 is the number for the position if we hit on the bigger targets...I would think the number is 2 but just throwing it out there. Akih is one that I would take a commitment from, he's not going to...
Logan George was really impressive looking, if he can rotate in at DE that would be a nice boost. All my Idaho folks that know him say he's a great kid and extremely hard worker, but it looks like the talent is there for him to play some serious minutes.
Taurian Washington approves this message. But Sayin definitely looked good...command at the line, good pre-snap reads, decisive and excellent ball placement. Pretty much what I expected but it was nice to see live.
Exactly, it's going to take a year of development but you can see why he was the top QB in the nation. He's in an ideal situation to do just that. Gotta be honest though, he can move way better than I had imagined.
