There's no question this is a crap season and that the team has lost its way. But fans should be careful in thinking that any change is guaranteed to produce better results. I still am a believer in Holtmann. Much less than I was before this season, though, and he needs to turn things around...

My perspective on this is that Holtmann's job is coaching basketball, not "answering his critics." At the end of the day, he is judged by wins, losses, league championships and NCAA Tournament record. Period. Whether any of us wants him fired or extended, these are the metrics that matter.

He good. Real good.
