    That didn’t happen.

Explain to me like I’m 5 how it’s a coaches fault that a player falls down. And if you don’t believe the defense improved last season, I’ll leave this conversation alone right now. There’s no reasoning.

They ran for around 90 yards on 33 attempts, outside of those 2 long runs. Better DB play in that game and it’s a different story.

The game plan against UM was fine. The execution was the problem. Before the game, EVERYBODY said the best chance to win is to stop the run game and make McCarthy beat you. Missed tackles, bad angles, and poor man-to-man coverage are all on the players.

GA DB KJ Bolden (Georgia Signee)

All the commentary and complaining about…basically everything…is exhausting and way more annoying than anything that’s happened in recruiting and on the field.

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Nah. I would think that it would do the opposite due to the, perceived or real, volatility. If coaches believe anything can and will happen due to NIL, it only makes the most sense to cast a wider net. But again, I don’t make recruiting strategies for a living. Last minute flips would seem...

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

There were tons of misses under Urban too. The only difference now is the philosophy of investing all of their time and resources into a smaller pool of recruits, which doesn’t allow them to circle back on guys like Urban did. I’m not really a fan of it, but I’m not paid big bucks to come up...

2024 FL(IN) DT Jayden Jackson (Oklahoma Verbal)

If I’m not mistaken, that looks like Goodale Station on top of the Canopy Hotel on Nationwide.

2024 IL DE Marquise Lightfoot (Miami, FL Verbal)

The most recent would probably be RB Jaylan Knighton, who committed to the staff in person and then publicly committed to Miami. He’s since transferred to SMU.

    DT Eddrick Houston (National Champion)

Not completely out of left field. I know he isn’t as visible anymore since he’s behind a paywall, but Birm called him to the class since like February.

    S Jaylen McClain (National Champion)

I really really like his highlight tape. He triggers very fast and isn’t shy about contact. I’d like to see him stick to the WR’s hip a little better in downfield coverage, but he looks really good.

    DT Eddrick Houston (National Champion)

It was Marc Givler. He had just finished watching one of their spring scrimmages. They do yearly tours of southern schools with OSU targets. He said Eddrick was the best player they saw on their trip this year. Edited to add quick video from Marc

2024 FL TE Colton Heinrich (Georgia Verbal)

He was just crystal balled to UGA by Wiltfong this morning.

    CB Aaron Scott (National Champion)

I came away with the exact opposite takeaway. They were really bad reps helped by even worse QB play. There was one that seems to be deleted where he was beat by about 7 yards but the QB threw it so late that he recovered to break it up.

LB Darron Lee (National Champion, Super Bowl Champion, Fugitive)

If I recall correctly, wasn’t there a video of him in the club when he was a rookie or 2nd year player with the Jets drunk in the club and needed to be restrained by teammates from going after a woman? Edited for link...

    2023 tOSU Defense

I know he doesn’t have the big name so people write him off, but Hamilton was probably the second best DT last season overall. He probably has the highest floor, but lowest ceiling of all of the potential starters but he’s way more consistent that Tyleik or Hall.

2024 NC QB Jadyn Davis (ttun Verbal)

It’s not. He’s barely average as a runner.

    2023 tOSU Defense

That would be coaching malpractice at levels rarely seen at tOSU.
