    OL Chase Farris (Official Thread)

That would be my guess. I like that Chase is a "jack-of-all-trades" guy for us, who is able to play at a high energy level on both sides of the ball.

'14 NJ TE Mike Gesicki (Penn State Verbal)

I think Coach Meyer looks to get his best players the ball as much as possible. Right now, I'm not sure either of our TE's have the ability to demand touches be taken away from a guy like Carlos Hyde or Corey Brown. I'm sure that's what he tells a young man like Mike Gesicki - "I get the ball...

Game Thread Iowa at tOSU, Homecoming, Oct 19, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

My only concern is that we gave 3 time B1G coach of the year, Kirk Ferentz, two weeks to prepare....

What SEC team would you like to play AWAY?

Bama. I want so badly to be the team that brings them to their knees.

HB Dontre 'DeSoto' Wilson (Official Thread)

Listening to Tom Herman's interview yesterday, he stressed that Dontre needs to become a more complete player so that they can put him on the field to do something other than a) get the ball or b) be a decoy. I read that to mean they need him running better routes, blocking better, playing...

    OL Chase Farris (Official Thread)

You're right in that my response was probably too brash. Simply put, I felt our D-line was one of the highest performing units on Saturday. I've read so much commentary about why so-and-so didn't play Saturday and I'm like "Heeeellllllo! We won the game! You play. To win. The game!"

    2013 Freshman with Biggest Impact

Behind Bosa, I think it'll be Dontre and Bell. With our captain safety, Christian Bryant missing the rest of the year, chances are Bell will be relied upon. And I still think despite the fumbles, Dontre will be a major part of our gameplans.

    OL Chase Farris (Official Thread)

Apparently, the coaches felt winning the game was more important than developing the 3rd and 4th string defensive tackles. Maybe we should let them know what their priorities OUGHT to be.

RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

I'm mostly just concerned about Corch Myers' ability to equip out kids with proper cleats.

RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

Are you serious? I don't know how it looked on tv, but from where I sat (Front row) you could see tons of slipping and practically hear it. How about every time Braxton tried running the QB draw? Change of direction plays were few and far between. But again, I'm sure Myers didn't consider that.

RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

Well, you have to remember the field was really soggy. Yes, it was soggy for everyone, but I think that what Dontre does well is get the ball on those sweeps/jets and gets almost to the slot (aka full speed) and then cuts it up field, seemingly without losing much speed. That's pretty much...

RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

What an excellent young man. Love his game too.

    OL Chase Farris (Official Thread)

We won the game and stopped the run with the guys we had. Why is it an issue that he didn't play?

    DL Michael Bennett (National Champion)

Hands down our best D-Lineman so far this year. I love his game and how tenacious he is in there. Seems to be battling a few injuries, so this bye week will be huge. Side note - Mike is hilarious on twitter. Might be the wittiest/funniest guy on the team.

QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I love that Braxton is developing his passing skills, getting down before getting his head knocked off, and running a little more passive. I'd rather him save that explosive running for when his knee is healthy and we are playing someone good. I guarantee you see Braxton being Braxton by the end...
