Vote for the Greatest Buckeye Ever

Voted for Eddie because he's my favorite, but Archie should win this one easily. Almost went Orlando Pace. What a stud.

Former DC Kerry Coombs (Former Cincy Bearcats Interim Head Coach)

Love his enthusiasm as well and he is a fantastic recruiter from everything I've heard. No idea on his technical coaching ability...but the DBs have looked bad the past few years.

    WR Jalin Marshall (Edmonton Elks)

Agreed H&G. I distinctly remember him running for about 300 yards on my Moeller Crusaders in the playoffs. Nearly took them out by himself.

    RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

I didn't see the breakaway speed or receivers getting much separation, other than the long pass play to Devin Smith. Could be, and likely is, attributed to poor route running, but I haven't seen the crazy speed everyone has raved about all preseason.

    2014 Offense Discussion

Slow developing pass plays against a blitz. Happened all night, with no adjustment. Still on the playcalling. And there were plenty of option plays and designed QB runs...way too many.

    2014 Offense Discussion

I was not dead wrong. He's not a good runner. He's just ok. Compared to traditional QBs, yeah, he's a fine runner...but compared to a running back? No.

    2014 Offense Discussion

Come on now, he's an average runner at best. My post wasn't intended to criticize Barrett, but the playcalling. We aren't getting the ball in the hands of all these guys we recruited.

RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

Absolute stud. I suspect he may be stealing a lot more of Gore's carries by mid-season. The teams that took RBs ahead of him will regret it. Wish we could have him back for one more FULL season.

    2014 Offense Discussion

So if we take out the 7 sacks and make it 17 carries...that's still WAY too much for him to be running the ball. He's not a good runner, plain and simple...Elliott, Samuel, Wilson, and Marshall are the guys I want to see running with the ball in their hands. Not JT

    2014 Offense Discussion

Dontre Wilson - 3 touches Jalin Marshall - 0 touches Curtis Samuel - 5 touches J.T. Barrett - 24 carries Does this stick out to anyone else?
  18. Michael Bluth

    RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

Doesn't matter. They don't have the ball in their hands enough with J.T. carrying it TWENTY FOUR times.
  19. Michael Bluth

    RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

I get the impression watching these guys run that they are extremely fast in short bursts, but don't have the "take it to the house", Ted Ginn-like speed over a longer distance.
