  1. Devin Gardner (official thread)

LOL Hey blame JT for not closing...
  2. Devin Gardner (official thread)

Wasn't a like or not like scenario it was more about fit. Believe me there was a lot of debate whether to offer Devin or not. You don't travel to someones basketball game early in the recruiting cycle if you're not thinking of offering.
  3. Devin Gardner (official thread)

    Committed to Michigan
  4. Devin Gardner (official thread)

Staff feels Pryor will be a dynamic QB by the end of his jr. year. Too much risk not to be prepared. If you don't bring in a QB that is ready to go you can really set the program back 2 to 3 years.
  5. Devin Gardner (official thread)

If Boyd was a Buckeye than the offer would have been issued. Not an opinion.
  6. Devin Gardner (official thread)

Better arm and more elusive than Siller. Gardner will be good, really good but he'll need sometime. OSU doesn't want to risk it, handing the keys over to him maybe as early as his redshirt freshman year/sophomore year. Way too early, need a kid with more polish.
  7. Devin Gardner (official thread)

We want a kid who can throw on the roster. We already have one that is a project, kid's dynamic but really needs to polish his act, and OSU basically passed.
  8. OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

The biggest problem is he already took his visit to OSU, to me all this means when Marcus hits the south on his recruiting swing those teams will trash Michigan more. I still think he'll end up a buckeye. We'll know more after the Miami trip. If Michigan's still his leader after Miami then...
  9. '10 MI DE/TE William Gholston (Michigan State signee)

It should happen but there's reason to believe he won't leave the state. I believe he'll go to MSU around their junior day.
  10. '10 MI DE/TE William Gholston (Michigan State signee)

He's a 5 star recruit no doubt in my mind. He's a great run stopper as well as a pass rusher. Far better than his cousin at this stage. Remains to be seen if he's as dedicated. Vernon was the all-time theft in recruiting for JT.
  11. '09 MI DT William Campbell (Michigan Signee)

from what I was told he was upset that admissions dropped the ball on his listing in the student directory with the early admissions. Problem is the university doesn't care, and is going by the book. Probably RR could have done something, but I doubt it, and that was probably relayed back to...
  12. OL Reid Fragel (Official Thread)

I like Reid, I thought Jake Ballard would be a huge weapon in the passing game, surprised it never worked out. Reid to me is the same type of player, he'll be a good blocker, but I'm not sure if he can get open on the college level or we'll use him correctly outside of blocking. We'll see.....
  13. '09 MI DT William Campbell (Michigan Signee)

    he's going to michigan.
  14. Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

Sometimes Spurrier is a genius Love this line about charlie: SportingNews.com - Your expert source for NCAA Football stats, scores, standings, and blogs from NCAA Football columnists
  15. Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

I know I have my problems with Weis on a personal level, but if I were to offer advice to Weis it would be in these three areas: 1) Simplify your playbook especially with a young team and use more of your practice time on fundamentals. You're a better tackling team because once Corwin Brown...
  16. '10 MI DE/TE William Gholston (Michigan State signee)

Yep Southeastern will be a MSU feeder school for now on.
  17. '10 MI DE/TE William Gholston (Michigan State signee)

Saw him play this past weekend Big time player, plays high like his cousin used to but is a better player than William was at this point. Most likely a top 50 player. Expect an OSU offer, but he's all MSU at this point.
  18. Penn State Aftermath

Here's the thing As soon as JT announced that Pryor would be the starting QB, he sent a signal to the team that the best chance to both win now and the future would be to start a true freshman. I didn't agree with that notion now, but I have to admit Pryor is doing better than expected IMO...
