Seems like Birm was let go too. I guess basically what they are being accused is accepting money from sponsorships which they were not entitled to---which is kindof funny now b/c that's what to used to get the athletes in trouble
Agree with NIL being the most important thing in the sport now. But your coach has to also be able to go in a room and command the room with the money people and help to work out deals. All due respect I just don't think Diebler has that kind of cache. I wanted them to hire Calipari personally.
I see it both ways. I dont think anyone had Patricia as the #1 candidate. But he's clearly been impressive in interviews and he worked with the best coach ever for a decade so I doubt he's an idiot
