I already have VLC, I know it's the best out there. (I also did a quick google search for flv converter, but figured I'd ask if anyone had experience with this as well. It's often easier to find what other people are already doing. No sense in re-inventing the wheel when I can find it on...

Anyone know of a good (free) converter for .flv files? I can deal with whatever output they give, I just need to get them out of the flash video format and into something a little more useful.

Lots of reasons, some good, some not so good. Some people may just want it because they just have to have the latest technology. Most people though have it so they can manage all of their contacts, appointments, calendar, email, and phone with one device. But they can still do more than that...

Take a closer look at the picture, the words "PalmOne" and "Treo" might give you a hint as to what the mystery phone really is. Hint: it's not a Blackberry :wink2:

I have a free LG phone that came with the plan...but yes, my PDA is all that it should be. :D I'd like to have a step up on the phone just to have bluetooth, but that's it. I don't need anything else on my phone except for a phone. (Unless of course I can get a Treo paid for as a business...

It's really only for 1 user. I think I've got everything worked out with customizing ACT--turns out it was easier than I had initially thought. Just need to figure out a few more quirks, then it should be up and running very soon. Thanks a ton for your help guys.

I checked out the Goldmine and ACT! demos today. Customizing ACT! turned into a pain quick. I may just end up building what they need from the ground up. It may well be the easiest way. They sort of want a CRM, but the specs don't revolve around sales really.
