TM seems to have offered most all of the AOR 17 members that are T100 players. Are there really that many on the U15 team that are mentioning programs and aren't interested in OSU? It seems kind of early for most of them anyway, no?
I do know TM seems to be as interested, or more interested...
As far as I know, the tOSU staff never offered Nelson a ship, so its a stretch to say he SPURNED a school that never got to the point of offering him. I don't know if UCLA did or not.
I don't blame him for not opening all that mail if most of it was form letters or non-personal generic...
Talk about overreaction. WOW! One guy says he's overrated and all of a sudden people with NO CLUE think Matta will rethink the offer. Thomas is HANDS DOWN the 2nd best recruit of the 5 in the class right now. There is NO WAY Matta would back off him. Thomas is still a McD's AA lock and a...
The comment about his dad being called by Kruger raises a question.
I know that calls from coaches to recruits are limited in number and to certain periods. And that calls FROM the recruits to the coaches ARE NOT restricted. I believe some coaches were texting recruits telling them to call...
Who's correct?
An offer is mentioned on 6/20 as having come but then in the 7/9 one he says it just happened. ????
I don't have much confidence in landing this recruit anyway!
Kecman should be put in the 09-10 Soph class as the Dispatch and other sources have said he will get a redshirt for 2008-2009 and will still have 3 years of eligibility left.
I can't think of a single recent recruit from TN we've been in on but with a 4.3 gpa and having passed his ACT before his JR year has started this is one kid I'd like to see Thad go for rigorously. Sounds like a great all-around kid!
I think Thad has really learned from his mistakes on Golden...
I've recently heard that his father wants him staying in state ( scUM or MSU ) and doesn't care for tOSU. Doesn't sound good for our chances. I think too many people read too much into Edwards' soundbite.
Outstanding news! For one, Sully needed to lose the baby fat as it was not helping and I tend to think it was holding his game back some. Secondly, he's been saying for months that he hadn't been pressuring Payne YET, but when the time came HE WOULD - as would Sibert. Sounds like the time is...
With both of his older brothers at DUK, and his playing h.s. ball in NC instead of IN, I'd think DUK would be a good bet. He's probably downplaying them to garner some attention from other programs. In the end though, I wouldn't bet against DUK.

We don't have a "true PG", that's the problem! If we did then the idea of ET playing it would be moot. But we do not! Simmons is a 2 who can play a little PG in a pinch but really should be our backcourt 3 point weapon off the bench and not put in at PG where he struggles just to survive it...
Evan is in a scoring position when he HAS the ball. He played point a great deal in our half court offensive sets last season actually. Our PGs mostly broke the half court line and then got rid of the ball ASAP and let ET run the show anyway. So the only real difference to him playing...
Be careful on expectations for Kecs. EA AZ isn't exactly high JUCO competition and a 6'8 guy who only pulled down 3.5 rebounds makes me think SOFT as cotton. I think he'll struggle to adapt at this level particularly coming off of a blown out knee to boot. With so many good-to-great wings I'm...
billmac91, not sure why you are touting this kid but you lose some credibility when you characterize his brother's frosh year stats of:
34% FG 27% 3s 1.7ast 1.6 t/o
from the PG spot as solid and claim he would have started at tOSU. As much as Simmons and Hill struggled they put up better...
