We are real thin at most of the non skill positions. Being on the team does not equal experience. Check out the snap counts. We haven’t built the proper depth in the trenches whatsoever. They will have to hit the portal pretty hard for the heavy lifters next year.

Will Howard didn’t come out of the bullpen in the bottom of the ninth. If you want a pitching comparison, it’s more like he lost a complete game shutout 1-0, because he gave up an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth.

Nah, if you strike out in the bottom of the ninth in a 9-8 loss after hitting a pair of grand slams, that last at bat didn't ruin your performance. The poor pitching (defense) shouldn’t have required you to bat in the bottom of the ninth in the first place.

Needs to beat both PSU and tCun to keep the fanbase. If he loses to either, I can't see him recovering. This is his year to get it done. Next year, I expect a significant drop-off in talent/experience.

To be clear, I’m not advocating for the change at the moment. Having said that, he doesn’t have to recruit any longer. NIL collectives will do the heavy lifting. OSU is a pro team and is only going to get more “pro”.

Admittedly, I’m not “smart guy“, but there is only one answer to that question.
