I think that the NW board had it right. I really don't see aTm and UT splitting up because of the amount of money at stake from the PUF. We are talking about billions in oil money and a split would create a large amount of political tension.

I think that most people are excited. All of my friends are of the opinion that Texas and aTm should relax, open up a nice bottle of scotch, light a cigar and watch the rest of them run for cover while we pick the best option at the end. whats the point of getting in a big damn rush

No the big 12 hasn't been around long but it still felt like home. the big ten or pac whatever just isn't really the same... change is good and in this case needed...i just really hope things like the aTm thanksgiving game and Red River Shootout don't get messed with.

well, i hope that you're right...it would be a huge pick up for this Texas class that it already loaded with defensive players. Between Hicks and Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas has a chance to make a huge splash on signing day. btw, i'm really looking forward to seeing what TP brings to the table...
