you and me both...easily the two most polar opposite public schools in the nation.

It goes back to the days of atm being a real military institute and trying to show the football players that they understand the pain they are going through and that they are willing to sacrafice as well....its one of their "traditions" of which they have many.

Don't know if they would do it but there could be a pod system. 4 groups of 4 where each plays the other three teams every year and then 2 teams from from the other 3 pod on a rotation.

it may be true that aTm had a plan for the SEC but the reason Tech is a problem is because they are a teir 3 school. aTm is one of the top public research institutions in the US. Their only problem is a Napoleon complex. side note: last time i defend aggy, but it really is a great public school

Also, never discount the amount of Texas pride (ok maybe arrogance) in this whole thing. I have no doubt that Texas wants to be THE story here and will keep everyone waiting as long as possible so that at the end Texas will be the beautiful bride walking down the aisle that everyone is looking at.
