    WR Duron Carter (Official Thread)

I made the comment before, Carter is one of the smartest receivers you'll ever see on the field, he's not just like a lot of receivers who have great speed and good hands.

'09 FL LB/S Frankie Telfort (Southern Cal Signee)

I don't think he is a low level recruit and certainly he is much better than Duke. His on the field speed reminds me of this guy Spence who plays for Miami. Also reminds me a bit of Zach Thomas, the former Dolphin standout. Telfort will give you 110% effort. He certainly didn't get pushed around...

Anyone have a link that might show this game over the Internet?*

Sweet, had a friend in Colombia and just told him.

RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

He did play as a sophomore. Had 70 carries for 497 yards and 5 TDs along with 3 receptions for 27 yards, High School Sports - MiamiHerald.com He was their leading back that year, but split a bit of time with another back. They kind of had a mixed rushing/passing attack that year.

'10 CT LB Khairi Fortt (Penn State signee, transfer to Cal)

Keep an eye on this guy. I have a friend up there and he told me this kid is the real deal.

RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

Miami-Dade High Schools | MiamiHerald.com Palmetto running back Jaamal Berry carried the ball two times for 15 yards, and also had two catches for 20 yards. Berry also orally committed to Ohio State.

RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

I posted them in the UA thread, but as mross34 mentioned he didn't get much playing time. He had a fumble on the last possession he got in after get hit once...then twice right in the ribs, but got up without issue. He had at least two good carries that I saw, one that went 20+ on a pass (I had...

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

The CB I think it remains to be seen what they can actually do on the field, but Harris I saw when he was in high school at BTW in Miami and that kid could flat out play (so many positions).

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

As far as the players, they really are only missing an o-line and perhaps a few good CBs.

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Miami picked up two great players at the Under Amour game tonight. I can understand Debose taking Florida not joining his buddies, because Miami is just plain full at WR at least for several years. It will be interesting to see what Marve does.

    2009 Under Armour All-America Game - Jan. 4th

Despite that fumble on that hit, I'm still happy with Berry tonight, when he had a touch he went up upfield with it. Wish they had more dump offs to him on the pass, as that is something where I feel he is a hidden weapon.

I'm getting to antsy to see my man Berry play.

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Goes back to what I said earlier about local recruiting. Every kid playing high school football in Miami knows about Randy's upbringing and many have faced the same issues that he has. And to see him being able to achieve all he has despite those difficulties...well you get the picture, it's a...

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

That's just plain bad. I know half a dozen kids I can name offhand who ran into trouble in Miami, but have since straightened out their lives. This isn't a Sunday picnic in some parts of this city.

I wouldn't go there. He's had a very difficult upbringing and should actually be commended for getting where he is, FOXNews.com - Shannon: 'Hard Times' to 'Canes Coach - College Sports and Opinion: Miami’s Shannon won’t be intimidated - College football- nbcsports.msnbc.com

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Kirby Freeman and Kyle Wright, that was a tragedy. Wright came highly touted and was usurped by Freeman, then back to Wright and vice-versa. It's not too different from what occurred this year with Marve and Harris, but I have to say that the talent level from Marve and Harris was well above...

BCS Title: Florida 24, Oklahoma 14 (Final)

I just can't see how Oklahoma's defense is going to be able to handle the Gators. I've already got money down on Florida.

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

We'll likely never know, but I'd like to see the info come out instead of putting faith in a lot of allegations from both sides. If Shannon doesn't bring fame and fortune next year, he's likely out. However, he is bringing in the local recruits, something that has troubled Miami for many years...
