I have the notifications turned on....and I have a ringer set. It has not rang once, and I have gotten several messages and whatnot on Facebook. I have no idea what the issue is. Other question: I think the default browser is excellent...I used to have a BB and it blows those browsers...

Ya, I downloaded a few apps today and I too made the mistake of leaving them open. That took a big hit on my battery....like it would for any phone. Are the extended life batteries ALWAYS big and bulky? I don't know if I've ever seen an extended life battery that is the same size as a regular...

My only minor issue thus far: The way the phone locks. I know you can change the settings around so it locks in 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 min...whatever. 1 minute would be the ideal lock time for me. However, when you change the setting to 1 minute, the screen doesn't go off until that 1...

Ya, I had literally just paid for my phone when I got your text. I was still in Best Buy actually. The guy working in the mobile dept. was putting one of those invisible shields on my phone. He was the one who read your text at first, ha. He said he had heard nothing about the buy 1 get 1...

So I've never used touch-screen phones...and I'm worried about smudges and whatnot on the screen. Should I not worry about this?

I've had a BB Curve for the past year. I really want to get this Incredible on Thursday. Am I going to want to kill myself trying to make the transition? I text all the time and I've never used a touch-screen before.
