if the 2020-21 season never happens, then my understanding is that the players effectively retain a year of eligibility. if so, then the sensible thing would be for a one-time, one-season waiver of the scholarship limit only in such cases where a team has a player who qualifies for and accepts...

johnson obviously has considerable worth and adds much value to the team. i have absolutely no complaints about our interior defense and overall game-planning. i also think kaleb progressed nicely and so has young. moreover, johnson represents the program and the university like we'd hope...

maybe the numbers don't bear it out, but, compared to most major programs, it also seems as though izzo has been less affected by players transferring out. "less affected" is a very passive way of saying that izzo tends to know what kind of player he wants and, more importantly, the players...
scratch that. seems far more likely that bates reclassifies and plays at msu for a season. it's either that or bates plays in the developmental league (or whatever it's called now), which i doubt he'll do. what i'm certain of is that bates won't spend his 2022-23 season by wasting it in high...
