  1. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

They live in Lewis Center. They do shop at the Kroger’s in Lewis Center. Not that I am stalking him or something……lol. (Just to make sure everyone knows I was saying this in jest…..I used a Central Ohio favorite term of “Kroger’s”)
  2. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Agree 100%. Day is not a natural coach. And after 6 seasons, he is continually getting outcoached. Perhaps Day would be the ideal “CEO”. He is a great program leader, per se. But just not a coach. Regardless, we need to ride this season out. There is a reasonable chance OSU makes some...
  3. 2026 OH S Kaden Gebhardt (Clemson Verbal)

A great young man and a great player and classmate of my son at OHS. Frankly, he reminds me of Koi Perich. Possibly about 90% of Koi. Would love to cheer for him for 4 years.
  4. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

I hope that in 2 years OSU issues special instructions for scUM at The Game in 2026. They must stay in a roped off area before and after the game and be under the full supervision of CPD. Make them walk single file into the game In front of south stands and along the east sideline. Nowhere...
  5. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

That’s why I think we have to look at these possible scenarios: 1. NFL superstar route (Deion Sanders) - instant talent influx and potentially very good with the right coordinators. Lotsa culture changes but if it wins big then so be it. The Woody/Earle/Tressel era is gone. The only guys I...
  6. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Campbell would be a significantly better game day coach than Day. He is from Ohio and would understand the need to win the rivalry game. As long as he would retain BH and JL and TW, he would keep the talent pipeline. Day is literally an incompetent HC during gameday.
  7. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Yes. M Was hoping Day wouldn’t patiently pick apart its secondary with short stuff and rollout passes. It was obvious to everyone in the stadium expect Day and Kelly. Literally. Yet Day had to prove his and his team’s toughness by running into a wall. Frankly, he or Kelly or both should...
  8. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

You are right. We need to cut Day Monday and begin the transition to the future. Let LJ or Knowles assume interim HC. Make Hartline OC. The future will need to be Marcus Freeman or Matt Campbell.….with Hartline and JL in place to recruit. Heck - bring Eddie George in as RB coach. Go all...

When Quinn Ewers transferred out a couple years ago I figured there was no way this would affect us this much. But it did. With Ewers last year we may have won it all….this year for sure. Howard has done very well all year. But he showed some signs of not having the arm strength to take the...
  10. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Thinking more about it. Bielema. He’s always seemed like a dickhead yet he wins. His teams play tough , physical up front and now he Illinois in the top 25. Cignetti….yet he would cost a lot to hire away now. I’m starting to like the Syracuse HC. He has them looking strong….and Upstate...
  11. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Unfortunately, M had our RBs wrapped up at the LOS most of the time. When they weren’t we had near zero blocking downfield. Our WR and TE did not perform well in the blocking department.
  12. Ross Bjork (OSU AD)

The list of upgrades is bigger than you may think. With all due respect, the Olentangy Liberty coach could win 9 or 10 games with this roster. So really the only thing Day brings is recruiting and a big name……the big name is shrinking fast and recruiting may follow
  13. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

The sentiment among the donors I have texted or spoken with after the game today is that they are done with Day….unless he gets into the CFP and runs the table. Even then, dare I say, winning a NC while also being Michigan’s bitch is not desirable at all.
  14. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Yet it was. I was at the game and the wind definitely hurt the long ball threat for us in quarters 2 and 4. Yet we didn’t take advantage of it in q1 and q3. Strange. Where was Jelani Thurman ? The one option pitch outside went for 7 yards. It was wide open. Our WR weren’t blocking well...
  15. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Something was so far off today it isn’t deniable anymore. The D held its own but started getting cute with substitutions and it cost us. The O should have gone tempo and worn out the big guys up front for M. Instead, we seemed content to getting 1 or 2 possessions per quarter. Simply...
  16. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

Agree. At this point the entire CFB world is laughing at you, Day. You are not tough. You are finesse and very good at it. But you’re not good at tough football. You should just embrace the finesse role and ask to have The Game moved to September so that we can play our weakest foes in...
  17. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

If we win it all that makes a huge difference. However, getting to the NC game and losing by 1 is not enough. This team has all the talent to beat the field. No excuses.
  18. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

what is “when forced to change“? This year was the year to do it. The SEC powers weren’t as powerful. Oregon is just getting geared up. Texas seems to be building a juggernaut too. Michigan was down. If not not now, then when? Making the playoffs but not winning is not success in my book.
  19. HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

I used to scoff at the idea that OSU needs a coach from Ohio to truly achieve greatness. Well, I’m almost 60 years old and it’s amazing that I now fully agree with the premise.
