    Super Bowl

Note on the MVP balloting. Something like 15 or 16 media members vote on the MVP, and then the public votes count for 4 more votes. I think this year the public votes were via text msg only and cost $.99 each. They also decided to count international voters since they have a vast knowledge of...

    Super Bowl

I'm sure the internet voters will end up giving it to Brady though. Edit:Guess the internet voters aren't as stupid as I thought.

    Super Bowl

I would give the MVP to Branch 11 receptions for 133. Pats only had 331 yds.

Dan Marino and Steve Young lead 4 into NFL Hall of Fame

If they are only going to take 2 recent players of the caliber of Young and Marino, then the HOF is becoming more selective, possibly too selective. This means former Bucks like Speilman, Lachey, George and Tatum really have no chance. Looks like Carter will be the next Buckeye elected. Forget...

    Michigan Basketball

I'm no fan of Amaker's, but they do have legitimate excuses this year. They have had tons of injuries with Abram only playing 3 games, Brown missing over a month, injuries to Chris Hunter and Brett Petway, and now of course Horton topping it of nicely. Even Illinois would be having problems if...

    New Offense

This is not a crack at Tony, but this is the ideal offense for Stockman. He could probably average 30+pts and 6-7 steals a game.

JWil, The official name is Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center. They are essentially the same thing. I think if you really want to differentiate the two, the court/theatre area is Value City Arena while the whole complex is the Schottenstein Center. It's also referred to as VCA...

SG Michael Redd (NBA All Star, Olympic gold medalist)

Past failures and successes of either program do not matter here. Only the teams current performance and future potential are worth looking at. Mike isn't going back in time to play for Milwaukee, or to the Cavs w/o LJ. Unfortunately Mike doesn't have they type of game to elevate himself to...

K Aaron Pettrey (Las Vegas Locos - UFL)

Don't be surprised if he's on this board. Someone contacted me on ICQ around two weeks ago and claimed to be his younger brother. I am almost certain he got my ICQ number off of BP. If all of the information he gave me is correct, we should make sure we do not lose him.

SG Michael Redd (NBA All Star, Olympic gold medalist)

BuckStocks, Ignoring your personal interest in Milwaukee, do you really think that's the best place for Mike? I really don't care where he plays as long as he gets the recognition he deserves and I don't think he will get it playing for the Bucks, at least not in the near future. He's 25 years...

    OSU vs. PSU

Yeah, the crowd was somewhat sparse and quiet. In the 2nd half PSU was on offense right in front of the student section and that's probably when the crowd made the least noise. Seems odd to me that they made more noise when the Bucks were on offense in front of them. BTW, During the postgame...

Give the kid a chance. Journalists can often paint a distorted picture of things. Everyone except eSPiN. Of course, they only report things as they are.:mad2:

    Bumpers Closed!

Yeah, it sucks ass. That was my favorite place to hang out and catch games. I remember getting there at 10AM a few times and leaving at around midnight during the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. That 38-11 place sucked ass. Seemed like the kind of place eurotrash might hang out in if...

I forgot about that. That was a pretty pimpin' suit. I still prefer the zoot suit Redd wore for the Big10 meetings in Chicago.

Looking forward to the UT-tOSU game! (long)

I'm almost certain the Bucks are 27-3-1 (.887) vs. the B12, not 21-3-1. That's easily our best winning percentage vs. a major conference.

Jimotis, what are you saying here? He doesn't have a heart and can't jump, or that he's shorter than advertised?

I'm a season ticket holder for several years, but I don't think I've been to a game yet where I didn't wish I was back in St John arena. When an opposing coach like UT Chattanooga's says things like this, you know it's not just due to memories of past glory.
