There are moron fans in every city. You can't just say that exists in Cleveland. The Browns have the most loyal fans in football. You won't go to other cities where the teams are not playoff teams and see a sold out stadium week in and week out. You wanna see some real idiot fans, look at...
Agreed, but there is a better way to do it than naming the person specifically in front of the press. You have to be tactful about it. Do you think you would ever see Belicheck or Jeff Fisher slam a player in front of the press? Especially their rookie QB? It just comes off as trying to cover...
Heard this morning that over the last week other than his throwing of players under the bus during his post game presser, he has:
- Confronted a former coach over comments about the team (assuming Rutigliano)
- Left an angry voice mail for Tony Grossi after he was critical of...
I was told today that a couple mock draft web sites have the Browns taking Geno Smith #1 overall. I cannot see this happening, but who knows with the expected new regime coming in? I am not sold on Smith #1 and #2 they invested a 1st round pick in Weeden, and as of right now I am not ready to...
Yep, you play to your player's strengths, not force them into a "system." Especially one that has run it's course like the West Coast. If only Shurmur were smart enough to put his players in the best position to be successful. :smash:
Agree that Little should not even smell the field once Benjamin and Massaquoi are healthy again. He's got the God given gifts to be excellent at the position, but right now he's got Chuck Knoblauch syndrome when it comes to catching the ball.
Maybe, just not sure what that helps or solves. This season is basically lost...again. Making a mid-season coaching change just adds more drama to a very young team. I mean bringing in an interim coach is not going to save the season and they are not going to junk this ridiculous West Coast...
Shapiro and Antonetti should thank Francona for saving their jobs. I like the hire, but I was all for a house cleaning. Not that any other President or GM is going to be much more successful with the tight purse strings of the Dolans. I think Francona will do a better job and has a lot more...
Well said fellas, agree completely. I thought I couldn't have disliked Shurmur anymore than after his comments about not having time for the players to watch the Cleveland 95 special, but I actually found that I still have more room to dislike him after today's comments. I think he has another...
He specifically bashed Weeden and said that the press needs to stop with the "Rookie excuses." He also called out Josh specifically for his fumble. Now a coach should hammer his players for their screw ups, but do it in the locker room and not in front of the press. When a coach does this in...
His post game presser comments were absolutely shameful. Throwing players specifically under the bus to try to compensate for his lack of coaching ability. Haslam knows what Shurmur is and what he isn't. This just shows how desperate he is at this point to try to save any little bit of...
I love that they used Carlos for direct snaps and saved Brax from taking some additional hits. Well schemed by the coaches, gotta keep Brax on the field as much as possible, but still let him do what he does best.
