I’m not sure what this message means. Hopefully it’s him saying he values and respects the team and will give everything for it. This is how I read it
That being said, the skeptic in me wonders if it could be a way of him asking OSU to pony up with more NIL money.
Who knows nowadays?
My girls go to Berlin and their team plays Olentangy on a yearly basis. I’ve seen him plays couple of times and have been impressed. Gebhardt’s a hell of an athlete and would do well at OSU, IMO. Cool to see a local Olentangy kid get an offer!
To this point I’ve always found the “brotherhood” talk from this team to be disingenuous.
Tight locker rooms don’t have to talk about how tight the locker room is. The same can be said for tough teams or teams who understand the significance of the rivalry.
Talk is cheap and this team talks...
This.
It’s inexcusable that we haven’t had a kicker that can reliably make a 35+ yarder in the Day era. The priorities are in the wrong places at the the moment. Go find a good kicker at a MAC school and poach them, FFS.
You never know how this game will shake out. With that being said, I have a sneaking suspicion that this one could lead to Michigan fans calling for Moore’s job.
Put me in the camp of being skeptical of Indiana. The have benefitted from outscheming equal or lesser talented opponents to this point. I’m not discounting the job that their coaching staff has done to this point. Everything being said, how do they do against a team playing their third top 5...
This one could’ve gone either way tonight. Here’s a positive I took from it. Oregon damn near played flawless tonight at home and won by 1 over a team who had two bad turnovers and many penalties. IF we clean that up we beat Oregonby 10 in Indy.
Oregon played to their ceiling and we didn’t...
I have no problem with this. Just because someone was a good player at OSU it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll be a good coach. Maybe JL isn’t ready…. If that’s the case, I say go find the best option out there.
I know that a lot of people have written off this game, but they shouldn't. This one could shape up to be a very good one. Push aside the self loathing/coach bashing and remember what first made you love OSU football. Just flip the game on and be a fan, this is a Bowl game and there's plenty...
The safe approach ended up backfiring. All great quarterbacks are risk takers. Watch any game on Sunday. The margin between a touchdown and a turnover is very small. You need a guy with the balls and the confidence to think he can get that touchdown.
OSU will age you very quickly, especially if you lose to the team up north.
Day is a good dude. His family is very nice as well. I have had some encounters with them throughout the years and they’ve always been very kind. He’s in a tough spot right now. How he handles the next year or so will...
