Damnit, now Mark May is picking the Buckeyes -- of course he is careful to qualify that with a "but they'll lose to michiscum."
Corso better pick the beavers... especially given his home-team preferences.
Maybe not, but I seem to recall a powerhouse thinking they'd roll a team that barely went undefeated edging out powerhouses like Cincinnati, Purdue, and Illinois.
Nobody outside of Ohio thought that team stood a chance either.
Speaking of which... where is that infamous rail anyway? Please tell me it's in the stadium somewhere. Though it'd be equally funny if they enshrined a rail somewhere like we enshrine NCs and Heismans.
:gobucks2:
I didn't take any names, but pretty much all the morning shows today. I just saw Smith pick us... but... seriously ... =) (I'm really beginning to like Smith, btw -- Herbie's "unbiased" act is nice but at some point I just think he's a panderer... and that was awhile ago.)
Not that it matters, but somehow ESPiN picking PSU across the board (every show / expert /whatever I've seen the past 2 days) makes me feel a lot better about this game. The story seems to be that these are 2 very defensively strong teams. But I think by the end we'll see that one of these...
Why is it every game I watch, McGee goes in for Illinois in the 2nd half? I can't see it being a "change of pace" because they play very similarly. Zook doesn't trust Williams to finish a game or McGee to start one ? Or is it just a matter of keeping the QB fresh for options?
and I'm lmao at...
I don't know that MSU will be the best team OSU has played this year. But there is no doubt they haven't faced a running attack like this, and the young Dline will be tested for the first time. I think the speed of the defense and physical corners will keep Ringer in check, but Caulcrick could...
I don't think there was ever a doubt for me that RB broke the rules. Theres way too many red flags that came up and it's obvious from a cursory inspection that there is no way his parents could have afforded all of the things we saw with their professions.
That said, it makes no sense (to me) to...
I think most of us just got tired of "arguing" with the 12yr old girls who love him and troll the Browns boards here.
I'll have respect for Quinn when he shows he's worth his holdout money.
"Could this be the last time Rogers pitches for the Yankees?"
"Could this be the last time K-Rod bats for the Yankees?"
Who gives a a;lsdfkjwer;jkl...
I'm just happy to have Lofton home again.
:slappy:
You can't be serious. I have faith that MANY defenses in the country could stop their running attack, not the least of which is the one in Columbus.
Putting them on a pedestal methinks. You're counting on an erratic option QB, a true-frosh receiver, and a very solid RB as the best...
I vote to send PSU to the BE. Maybe they can teach them how to play some Defense.
I get the NW thing, but... they are a founding member and (presumably) have a lot to offer on the academic side. The only way I could see NW is if it was their own choice to discontinue some of their sports...
Awesome.
He did look kinda pissed... which makes me happy. So long as everyone thinks there are things to work on they shouldn't overlook Kent St. (or MSU after that, cuz I'm overlooking Kent St. :))
Wait I missed that... I only came back with him being very terse to the reporter about something. Can someone recap the first part of that interview ??
