I suggest you go back and read a lot of those articles.
Barkley was also number one for a huge portion of the time the rankings were out IIRC.
I guess I just don't see how you can claim the number one QB recruit in the country who committed to USC didn't get a lot of hype compared to Braxton.
That would have to be one hell of a source because I can't imagine there being much confusion between the Glenville staff and the OSU staff with regards to LaTwan.
Delonte West is playing like an absolute retard tonight. Wish I could think of a better term to describe his play. Just horrible decision followed by horrible decision.
You almost never get immediate help at that point in the draft. This isn't the NFL where you can expect to get contributors anywhere in the first. In this draft, everyone after the top two is basically a crap shoot.
I don't know about about third.
The top three has to be Paul, Williams and Billups IMO.
I'd put Parker as clearly being 4th. After that you have Harris.
Rondo and Mo I'd put on about the same level. Both are asked to do certain things and neither is going to carry a team. Both are very...
I'll just use this thread to get this off my chest. Rondo's defense couldn't be more overrated. He constantly gambles and can't/won't keep his man in front of him. He could get away with this last year when he has a frontcourt of KG, Powe, and Perkins to protect the rim. But without those...
The Cavs matchup sooooooooo much better with Boston than we do Orlando. Turkoglu and Lewis are really difficult match-ups for us.
I also don't like the idea of Z guarding Howard.
I'd much rather have Boston than Orlando.
So would the thinking be that we're in the lead because of proximity and the fact we have some of his AAU teammates already committed?
Or is he going to surprise people?
I don't ever recall Kentucky or MSU playing that big a role in his recruitment before he announced his final three, but...
Anyone think there's a chance we take two safeties in this class and both are from Glenville?
We don't appear to be going after many safeties(assuming we have Joyner pegged for Cornerback) and Bryant appears to have the ability to play S or CB.
Just my observation, but we really need to work on our rotations. Every single one of Bibby's threes came after poor rotation and not getting to him in time. Josh Smith also got a few of his buckets from poor rotation and poor help defense. We aren't talking enough on defense I think.
I also...
