  1. '09 FL S Vladimir Emilien (Michigan Signee - transfer to Toledo)

Longo took Vlad's spot. Now I imagine Vlad will be taking Watt's spot.
  2. '09 FL RB Lamar Miller (Miami (FL) Signee)

I believe Lamar Miller's chances of qualifying anywhere that isn't West Virginia are between slim and none.
  3. SG Jordan Sibert (Atlanta Hawks)

Diebler would be a senior when Sibert's a freshman.
  4. SG Jordan Sibert (Atlanta Hawks)

I'm thinking he takes Golden's spot. I'm not sure Golden will ever develop into a pure PG.
  5. 2009 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I'm guessing the staff has decided 5 O line is more important than 7 DBs. If Martinez decides on USC/UCLA, I bet we see an additional O-line offer go out, or at least an offer to another player the staff likes. I'm guessing offers will be going out from now on only as prospects we have offered...
  6. CBF40's Look at '10 recruiting

Rosenbauer seems low considering his recorded size, speed, and game film.
  7. Cbf40's look at '11 recruiting

They have some nice prospects in this years senior class, some I'd expect to go to the MAC while a few won't be paying a dime for college. The underclasses are really loaded though, simply because of sheer numbers. We're having our largest freshman classes in a while(upwards of 200. For...
  8. Cbf40's look at '11 recruiting

St. Vincent- St. Mary looks to have some nice football prospects in 2011. One of them being Alex Hildebrandt a 6'4" QB. He isn't a statue though. He can move and has a nice arm. Played JV all year IIRC, but got some run on varsity as well. Also suited up for the varsity basketball team.
  9. Glenville Pipeline

Wynne's video is amazing for a freshman playing varsity. Is Walker the HUGE O-lineman at Glenville?
  10. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

I still can't believe people want to put Alexander at the four. Never mind the fact that he'll get abused defensively. What about Bogut? They'll basically be leaving him on an island all by himself. I can't see Alexander being able to provide much of anything with help defense. He'll get abused...
  11. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

He'll play the two before he plays the four. He could play it for spurts in the NBA, but no way he can consistently play power forward in the NBA. I guarantee it.
  12. 2008 NBA Draft

They could, but then they'd have to finish in the lottery for a few years in a row. Look at their big name players. The thing they all have in common is that they were all lottery picks. The Cavs had two lottery picks, Lebron and Luke Jackson, who unfortunately had injuries. I mean, yeah their...
  13. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Redd is still an option. Alexander won't be an NBA four. He'll play the three or even the two before be plays power forward. We'd still have to do a sign-and-trade to get Baron Davis most likely.
  14. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

The draft is only one area where you can improve, and you can really only do that in the lottery(though I still think the Hickson pick is a good pick). There's still a whole summer of potential trades, not to mention in-season trades. I think Ferry has shown he's willing to make moves...
  15. 2008 NBA Draft

We still have a lot of trade assets. If we don't get to use those assets this year, then we have a lot of money to spend next year. I think the team will be fine this year, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Hickson starting by the end of the year. He'll be a nice complement to...
  16. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Seriously, saying the Cavs aren't trying to improve is inane. We're going to have A LOT of money to work with next year, and if we don't, it's because we used our expiring contracts to make a trade this year. Would you all please let this stuff play out before writing your obituary for...
  17. 2008 NBA Draft

It's not a stupid pick. Seriously, why is Hickson a bad pick if we were going for a big? Arthur needs just as much work and development, same for Koufos. He's more of a pure post player than both of those players, and a better defender than Koufos. He put of 15 and 9 in the ACC. It's not like...
  18. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

You can't draft stars this late in the draft unless you get really lucky. Arthur still needs a lot of work. He's only a year older than Hickson. It's not like Arthur or Koufos are finished products. Aside from Beasley, I doubt a single PF/C prospect in this draft averages over ten points a game...
  19. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Have any of you seen Hickson play? Honest question.
  20. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

It's not a fucked up pick. He played on a horrible NC State team this year with no point guard. He's a really good player. He has a lot of upside IMO, because I don't think he's close to being physically developed, yet he's already really strong. He also has a pretty good low post game for such...
