Good luck to you Carlos! I cant wait to see you in the shoe.
  2. Jim Tressel (National Champion, ex-President, Youngstown State University, CFB HOF)

I think doctors have diagnosed that virus as BGL (Bigameloseritus) :tongue2:
  3. Jim Tressel (National Champion, ex-President, Youngstown State University, CFB HOF)

Chris Wells is the same height as Saine and only 11 pounds heavier. Saine has the build to be a power back, its the skill/experience of a power back that he seems to be missing.
  4. 2009 Purdue game thoughts

Maybe im wrong here but it seems to me that our defense has real problems with QB's who are confident with theyre passing game. Elliot seemed to be throwing very well and quite accurate. I'm sure a big part of that was our d-line being stopped so he had the time to read the field. I havent...
  5. Former QB Coach Nick Siciliano (official thread)

I personally dont like to use past statistics to justify the results of what has been more recently taking place. Troy Smith progressed Very well from his jr to senior year. Todd Boeckman did a very fine job progressing throughout the first year he started (2 years ago). However, Todd...
  6. Former QB Coach Nick Siciliano (official thread)

If a loss doesnt call for evaluation of the staff, i dont know what would. I think jim tressel is one of the greatest head coaches.. but his coaching staff needs evaluated. They can make improvments as much as the players can. Its apparent to me TP needs to improve the progression curve.
  7. Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

I personally think he was afraid to give the momentum away. At that point in the game (4th qtr) we only had 7 points...If we failed the 4th down, and came away with nothing, it would have hurt big time.
  8. Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

They wouldnt have been sown had the offense made an effort to fix whatever was broken last week and allowed our defense some rest. Maybe its just me, but thats the coaches responsibility. Also, i think back to Todd Boeckman, after a full year of starting is it a coincidence he didnt show much...
  9. Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

they call that Tebow Time in florida we need Terrelle Time in ohio lol. You seen how easy he walked in on that 2pt conversion. Thats what his speed is for.
  10. Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

Well now the offense knows it has to either get its sh*t together or continue to lose. They should have learned that lesson last week when the defense had to beat wisconsin. It doesnt seem like much was learned however, which was probably because they won that game. It seemed to me the o-line...
  11. Game Thread Wisconsin 13, tOSU 31 (Oct 10, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN)

The offense was frusterating to watch but TP made sure we all knew he knows how to put his foot down and throw a punch to the gut anytime of the game...(TD drive with the long pass to Posey) They had a bad day, but im still confident they know how to step up when its make or break. How...

Kurt Coleman - Suspended Ohio State Buckeyes safety Kurt Coleman suspended for hit to helmet against Illinois Fighting Illini - ESPN This is unbelivable, the B10 commission needs to put theyre panties away lol...Kurt coleman hit the player late, but get real, a pile of guys were still on the...
  13. Game Thread Illinois 0, at tOSU 30 (Sep 26, 3:30, ABC/ESPN)

Running up the score, which OSU did NOT do yesterday, does nothing but help both teams... It gives the offense of the winning team more reps and more rhythem and it shows the losing defense exactly where theyre holes are... (thats better than waiting till our B10 teams get to the big bowls...
  14. Game Thread Illinois 0, at tOSU 30 (Sep 26, 3:30, ABC/ESPN)

OSU needs a big run game in the Big 10. Chris Wells was a huge reason we dominated the Big 10 while he was here. Today was a great day for our RB's. I've been worried about them but am very impressed after theyre performance. It will be great to always have fresh legs to rotate with...
  15. Game Thread Illinois 0, at tOSU 30 (Sep 26, 3:30, ABC/ESPN)

Maybe its just me, but i dont remember any recent back to back shut outs.....Outstanding Defense! We all know juice williams is never easy to contain. Its impressive that they did shut him down today. Once again personally im fed up with the media talking heads....anyone else hear them...
  16. Operation Chaos mode - BCS Title game contenders

From what i seen today Florida doesnt seem to have anyone at WR stepping up, I think they will lose eventually. I wouldnt be surprised to see them lose twice. Theyre running game can be stopped if that all teams have to do.
  17. Game Thread Southern Cal 18, at tOSU 15 (Sept 12th, 8 pm, ESPN)

Heyward blew up that line a few times. Mcknight couldnt switch around the field when someone busts through.

Hell i didnt expect us to either.
  19. Game Thread Southern Cal 18, at tOSU 15 (Sept 12th, 8 pm, ESPN)

[off topic] Andre Ware is a complete hypocrit and simply a Moron. Last year i remember him saying it was sad and disappointing to see OSU trying to score after we knew we had the win against a weaker team. He kept knocking on OSU for getting "style" points...While today i heard him ENCOURAGING...
