DeShaun Thomas finished with 34 points. 1 point short of 2nd. wow.
1. Damon Bailey, Bedford North Lawrence (1990): 3,134
2. Marion Pierce, Lewisville (1961): 3,019
3. DeShaun Thomas, Bishop Luers (2010): 3,018
DeShaun Thomas and Bishop Luers go down. They lose to Southwood 70-68. Still looking for stats for DeShaun Thomas, but he has played his last basketball game as a Knight and his chase ends here. We'll have to see if he passed Marion Pierce when stats from this game come out. He needed 35 to tie...
DeShaun Thomas scored 26 points in a blowout win vs Fort Wayne Canterbury. That brings his career point total to 2,878 points. He passed Stephanie White in the third quarter to move to 4th in Indiana scoring history for girls and guys. He is still sitting in third place in guys scoring behind...
I don't think DeShaun is going to be able to break the record. He is 282 points back of the record with just 3 regular season games. And if they make the state championship game, which appears unlikely now, he would have 9 total games left.
282/9=31.33
282/8=35.25
282/7=40.29
Scout article said they were recruiting Royal(same high school and AAU) and Algie Keys(AAU). No mention of Parker in the article.
Also to note, I've seen a few places mention Royal has an offer.
He has been really impressive lately apparently. He has been picking up alot of bigger offers. He can shoot the jumper and also work in the post. Some people believe he will be in the Top 100 for Rivals when it is updated.
Of course he is being recruited as a role player. He's not a superstar...
Power forward
