QB Kirk ‘Nightmare On’ Herbstreit (Frosted Quips, False Narratives Clown, Afraid of THE Lunatic Fringe)

Agreed... with that part at least. Did any of y'all watch the Fiesta Bowl preview last night? Holtz was on the left, then May in the middle, and then Blackledge was on the far right. As Holtz and May made dumb or cliche comments after the other, I was looking at Blackledge the entire time...

Being A Buckeye For One Single Play

Bump. How about the defense of Ohio State when they knocked off NC State and Philip Rivers in 3OT in '03? I can't remember such an intense game, aside from the 2003 Championship and Holy Buckeye.

Who will be the Atlanta Falcons next coach?

Bump. I would love to see Cam Cameron get a chance somewhere. I really like the guy, and he's from the Big Ten, too. Unfortunately, if he goes to the Falcons, he could very well go 1-15 again very easily.

Former WVU Head Coach Bill Stewart (RIP)

I couldn't be happier for the guy. If Pat White stays and keeps healthy next year, which I'm pretty sure he will, this WVU team has to be considered a contender for next year. Devine is going to be a very good back, and White's arm has gotten noticeably better. Keep your eyes out for these guys...

QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

Ohio State has played extremely well with their gameplan throughout the whole season. Why change it on such a huge stage? I understand some tricky and unexpected plays can yield excellent results, but there is no point throwing in an inexperienced QB in the National Championship, whatsoever. It...

Capital One Bowl: Michigan 41, Florida 35 (final)

Yeah, that's basically what I was trying to imply. And now people are trying to negate that fact by using the argument that Georgia completely hammered Hawaii last night in the Sugar Bowl. My high school's football team could have beaten Hawaii...

I will give you that for sure. Herbie is extremely articulate, and I believe he is an excellent analyst. Personally, I would much rather listen to him than Lee Corso. He is by far the best analyst on College Gameday.

Capital One Bowl: Michigan 41, Florida 35 (final)

There are two scenarios that we, as Buckeye and Big Ten fans can take from this game. a.) Michigan played extremely inspired ball for Coach Carr and beat a better team in Florida. or b.) Michigan played extremely inspired ball for Coach Carr, beat Florida, and proved that the SEC is not as...

That a boy, PJ. Can y'all say Big Ten speed?

Outback Bowl: Wisconsin 17, Tennessee 21 (final)

I have officially jumped on the Tyler Donovan bandwagon. If people want to talk about SEC speed, why not talk about Big Ten grit and toughness?

Outback Bowl: Wisconsin 17, Tennessee 21 (final)

Sorry bro, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. While I would take Ohio State winning and everyone losing from the Big Ten over Ohio State losing and any other scenario, I want the Big Ten to do as well as possible in their respected bowl games just because it represents the Big...

Outback Bowl: Wisconsin 17, Tennessee 21 (final)

Tyler Donovan is one tough player. He's getting licked play after play, and he's smiling and wanting to get back in the game each time he's pulled. You've got to love that.

QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

Right, I understand what you're saying. But why should the Buckeyes try something that they haven't tried yet this season? I understand that Boecks has been struggling, but I believe Tressel will give Beanie the bulkload of work, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Beanie with 40 carries on the...

    Titans(-6.5) at Colts

The fact that I hear many analysts and people saying that the Jaguars can/will beat the Patriots and are the most likely team to beat the Patriots makes me feel that Belicheck and the Pats will steamroll over them. The team that I feel will give the Pats the hardest time is the Colts. They...

    Cleveland Browns (2007 & prior)

I strongly disagree with your assessment on not re-signing Anderson. I'm not saying that Quinn will not be a good QB in the NFL, but if you throw Quinn in as the starter next year, the Browns will only take baby steps backwards next season. With the Browns having such a solid and successful...

    Brian Billick - Unemployed

Great news for the Ravens, as Billick's ego appeared to be getting in the way of the direction of the team. If it hadn't have been for his Super Bowl victory, Billick would have been canned three or four years ago. On another note, this is great news for Troy Smith, as well. It seemed like...

Game Thread BCS National Championship Game: tOSU 24, LSU 38 (final)

I'm having a hard time sleeping, wondering which Todd Boeckman will come out to play. I'm hoping that Beanie gets 30+ carries, and Boeckman is needed as little as possible. I'm not saying that Boeckman cannot win this game. I just believe that Boeckman is most efficient when the running game...

QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I agree entirely. And what makes me believe that he should be their QB next year is simply by being efficient. What I have noticed that is remarkable for a young QB is that he had 76 passing attempts this year, and threw 0 INT's. Sure, there were passes that could have been intercepted, but...

The Worst Case of Animal Abuse I've Ever Seen

That owner is such a douchebag. I wouldn't mind seeing him jump off of a building.

Fiesta Bowl: West Virginia 48, Oklahoma 28 (final)

This just looks too easy. I cannot see WVU winning this game, let alone come within seven points of the Sooners. I just don't see the Mountaineers having the heart and passion that they showed up until the Pitt game, and with Rodriguez bolting for Michigan, I'm almost expecting a...
