Agreed. They spouted off last year they would play anyone any where....I heard we offered them a Neutral Field game in Denver or KC and they turned us down.
Well the good news is, this isn't over yet. With A&M making waves, this could get interesting. I think the penalties for Nebraska and Colorado leaving the Big 12 is starting to heat up and now with the argument that they will actually get more money is starting to get used against them in this...
Hmmm.....Partial qualifiers are no longer part of the NCAA in any part so you won't have to watch that sneaky TO trying to get one by on the Big 10. As for Texas, if you think graduating less than 60% of your student athletes is a good fit for the academic nature of the Big 10, then you are...
Nice call. I was at the game and the funny thing was WaZu was leading 7-0. Some guy busted off an 80+ yard run and the stadium was silent, you could hear a pin drop. The Huskers came back and lead 20-7 at half and 28-7 going into the 4th quarter. Nebraska also lead 35-14 and WaZu got a late TD...
Interesting Big 12 Media day. When Bo went to field questions, he said he wouldn't answer any about the Big 10. You could feel the air leave the room from the reporters that were dying to ask questions about the change.

Not sure many of you saw this but in conjuction with the Omaha World Hearld(newspaper), the university started a website that they are launching on August 7th. Right now there is a youtube video outlining the NU/Texas game. Nebraska is putting all their chips on the table for this one.
Red...
Really...this is news to me and I graduated from NU in 1992. By the way for future use...it is Osborne, not Osbourne.....that would be Ozzy. As for these mysterious academic scholarships, that is the first I have ever heard about it. As a matter of fact if a kid is on academic scholarship...
I went to the Nebraska/Va Tech game last year in Blacksburg. Great little city, great campus and great fans, but it isn't very easy to get to. Stadium is pretty small as well. How are their academics?
Not that it didn't need more drama, but that Nebraska/Texas game in Lincoln on 10/16 is getting more and more juice by the day. Itwill be especially tough for Nebraska playing against the Burnt Orange and the Texas dominant officiating crew. :box:
