  1. Congrats LSU!!

Bro, I think you are forgetting you won the game. Be happy that you did. All I am saying is that on Sunday night through Monday gametime, the Quarter was well represented by OSU and yes, outnumbered your Tigers. I am not talking about RV lots...I am talking about the Quarter.
  2. Congrats LSU!!

First off congratulations. Less (more importantly Bo Pelini and Gary Crowton) had an excellent game plan. At the time, I didn't care for the trick TD play in the 4th quarter, as in I thought it was excessive, but it is OSU's job to stop it. I know Tress wouldn't do it - but karma can be a...
  3. Official "Going to the Game" Thread

I have heard some good things about the Ernst Cafe...NOLA Buckeye et al...what is the best spot to tailgate? Where will your tailgate be?
  4. OWUBuckeye51's Blog from Nawlins

one more thing...if anyone is going down there to the game - I urge you to do YOUR best to make it as loud for LSU's offense as the cajuns do for our offense!!! If you are going to the game - BRING YOUR A GAME!!!!
  5. '08 PA LB Shayne Hale (Pitt signee)

What a difference a year makes....this time last year, he was considered a Buckeye lean by some recruitniks. Shows how quick things can change in this recruiting game!
  6. OWUBuckeye51's Blog from Nawlins

Yeah...I was very fortunate on this one... Thanks to grad and BP for the thread...as I said, I will be documenting everything live (and hopefully relatively real-time) from New Orleans...I have been there before (for Mardi Gras in 2002) but if anyone has any specific suggestions - please PM me!!!
  7. Cam Cameron -- FIRED

[sarcasm]well at least Cameron had ample time to implement his system[sarcasm]
  8. OL Jack Mewhort (All-American)

Wow. there is nothing else to say - 2009 is off to a wonderful start. Congrats Jack!
  9. LB John Simon - (2012 B1G DPOY, Super Bowl Champ)

This is an outstanding pickup...when I saw YCM play Watterson this past fall - Simon was an obvious stud. He already looks like a Big Ten MLB - and if he stays a DL in college coupled with tOSU s&c program, he has the frame to fill out nicely.
  10. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

Agree - UofI is a great school, which makes the fact that Cumberland and Gamble were able to make it in last year even more puzzling. A high school friend of mine graduated from their school of business, which is excellent. As far as admission standards are concerned, there obviously isn't a...
  11. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

My apologies...I was thinking of Morgan Williams...
  12. LB John Simon - (2012 B1G DPOY, Super Bowl Champ)

I will play along Taos... Simon says...he will be eating Big Ten OL for lunch in about three years!
  13. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

I am not in the know, but one would assume UofI has lax admissions standards with respect to tOSU's. Jeff Cumberland, Brian Gamble, and Joe Morgan are three players from the state of Ohio where it was rumored that the Ohio State staff wanted...some more than others. None received offers from...
  14. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

I agree with Sniper. This is a big time shocker. I have to wonder with all of the speculation of him playing D @ tOSU made him question where he wanted to go. I am sure The Zooker "candidly" communicated that he will play WR @ UI...
  15. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

If true and we did get Zookered, then good luck to Cordale @ UI. Every game but one I will be pulling for you to do well.
  16. QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Great post dude - couldn't agree more with your sentiments. If TP comes to OSU...I wonder if, when TP is ready, Tress would incorporate a portion of the zone read? If TP comes and competing for a starting job in let's say 2009...I would think he would run the a version of the "spread"...
  17. DT Shawntel "Shaq" Rowell (West Virginia signee)

    WAHOO!!!!!!:groove::groove::groove::groove::groove::groove:
  18. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

Agreed. RR is innovative...and while he may have choked in some big games over the past few years, I think he is an upgrade from VIIoyd. Not to knock Carr...but I think the game was passing him by a touch. I don't want to get too excited or cocky...this was a pivotal hire for scUM - time will...
  19. '06 OH WR Josh Chichester (Louisville signee)

Ahh....Chich. We hardly knew ye. What a shame things didn't work out for Chich-tOSU...good to see them working out for him.
