I'm not bashing his stats by any means, but they're certainly not an indicator of success at the NFL level. If they were, Timmy Chang would be on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame right now. While I do agree that the previous comment calling his inability to play QB at any level was not...
Gutsy performance on this day? Yes. Dynamic college player over the course of the 2013 season? Yes. Heisman trophy-level player in 2014. Yes. NFL-caliber QB? Not a chance.
That's not meant to be a knock against a guy who I consider to be a top-tier college player. I simply feel it would be...
The corners are good but not great and they've struggled with consistency - I think we all saw the Wisconsin debacle. The safeties are bad. Really really bad and the loss of Bryant has made a bad situation worse. They're deficiencies limit what can be done in other areas of the defense. They...
I think the problem is pretty clear: just a plain lack of talent/depth in the back 7, especially at the S position. Injuries, poor recruiting by the previous regime and the high number of transfers have all combined to make for a pretty disastrous situation. I am not the biggest fan of LF...
The concern I expressed is not meant to be an indictment of his long-term potential. I'm just saying that since (1) there's no inherent opposition to playing freshmen and (2) the competition at the position is shaky and there is no possible way he can yield more big plays than those already on...
Truthfully, if he can't crack the lineup over some of the people that have been playing back there, I think it's a legitimate concern freshman or not. The fact than another freshman is starting on the DL, where the talent is deeper, makes me believe his lack of playing time has nothing to do...
I wonder if this has something to do with the overall performance at the safety position especially considering the timing of the offer. To put it mildly, that position group has underperformed and I for one have been curious as to why no one else has been able to make it on the field...
AKA...he ran like a QB should, especially when said QB accounts for such a significant portion of the offense. I love Braxton and the way he plays as much as anyone, but whether it's due to fragility, poor decision-making, targets by the other team, bad luck, acts of God or any other factor, he...
Official prediction: By the end of this season Dunn will be the primary ball carrier at the TB position. With the suspensions ahead of him, he has a great opportunity and based on his physical talent and the stuff he showed last season, I'd be shocked if he didn't capitalize and bypass those...
If there is one thing UM showed at Florida, it is that high school positions are almost irrelevant (within reason) and that makes me think everyone should ignore the recruiting sites, let the man recruit and trust that he'll get the right athletes in the class and find positions for them later...
+1 and, if true, that's a shame. I'm certainly not saying obstruction should go unpunished and we don't have all the information at hand here, but on the surface this looks an awful lot like an "expendable" guy getting jettisoned.

My confidence that EE will be a Buckeye has risen dramatically with the following logic:
(1) UFM was unsure about one player
(2) the coaches were literally jumping when Vonn Bell committed
(3) Vonn Bell was the player they were unsure about
(4) They've known EE is a Buckeye all along...
Huge get that the old regime would not have even taken a second look at. Great example of how Urb will mold this team into a perennial top-5.
Also noticed that the good guys are now tied with Florida for the #1 class on rivals thanks to DW's commitment.
There aren't two "Percy Harvin" type guys on this planet. There was one and he's out of eligibility.
I get that this dude is a freak talent, but I think it's unfair and inaccurate to compare anyone to Harvin. His skillset was so unique and he dominated so soon after stepping on the field at...
