At the very least you're questioning the fact that his father is ill. How is it that you're in a better position to know who should play and who shouldn't than the coaches?
The "irreplaceable player" in this instance is Taylor Lewan. He literally was the face of Mich. football this season. There was no way for Mich. to go public with Gibbons' crimes without exposing Lewan.
As I understand it, a walk on with the same # as Marshall, Devonte Butler, got in at the end of the Fla. A&M game and was erroneously listed as Marshall on the participation report. I don't have the tape of that game so I can't verify but that's the explanation I was given.
Not my point, but I can see how you interpreted it that way. I'm saying that the referees' grandstanding for the home crowd is lessening my enjoyment of the game. Nothing to do with winning or losing any particular game. I didn't care who won the Iowa-Wisc. game but it wasn't any fun to watch...
Haven't really been able to get worked up for this game due to the fact that in order to win on the road you have to be about 15 points better than the home team. Big 10 refs play to the home crowd. Against MSU it's really too much to overcome.
Still a "dead period" for almost two more weeks. He would then have about two weeks until signing day. Meyer and Shaw have been recruiting him for well over a year. Strong will have his hands full just trying to re- recruit their existing commits.
