  1. WR Anthony Gonzalez (2005 All B1G, US Congressman)

Gonzo: Music on the field. I'm watching the Iowa game again now. I'm so amazed by Gonzo's plays, as always. To me, it's like MUSIC ON THE FIELD. He is just so smooth and enjoyable. It's great to be a buckeye!!
  2. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Being too young to have watched Elway (luckily not too young to watch Troy), I probalby don't know what I'm talking about. But Troy led his team back from behind twice against archirival was pretty heroic. Not to mention his performance against ND, Texas, etc.

help Could anyone invite me to demonoid please? Thanks. Email: [email protected]
  4. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I agree with you that we don't want to see him get hurt this way. I think JT would talk to him about this. But think about what other players would do for each other when a QB throw a block like this for fellow ball carrier. I guess this is just Troy being Troy. He just does what is needed.
  5. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Troy's block Did anyone else notice that block Troy threw for Pitt (?)? That was awesome! Could anyone provide that clip by any chance?
  6. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Maybe I watched too much "law and order", but I think the DAs should look into his motive. Maybe he did talk to others around him about his animosity toward, say 'the team' or particular individual. Had he mentioned anything close to 'wanting them pay for his misery', would it possible to make...
  7. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Doesn't 'not under the influence of alcohol' reduce one of the potential excuse and hurt his case? So the picture is like this now, he is sober, put on vest, load multiple guns, and drive purposefully (?) toward his destination. I don't know what it should be, but this has to mean something in...
  8. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

I see where you are coming from. However, this looks like a planned action all the way. Loaded guns, ak-47, bullet-proof vest. And apparently his target was not the officiers or and raodom person on the street because he didn't use the guns on them when he was cornered. This sounds like a...
  9. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Call me paranoid, but I think this is very f******* possible. Coaches and the school better be prepared.
  10. S Donte Whitner (Official Thread)

Totally agree. My guess is that Bills are having 2nd thoughts about drafting Dante so early. But you drafted him #8, you should suck it up and treat him like #8. Overall, this is no good for any party. Too bad it happens to Dante.
  11. S Donte Whitner (Official Thread)

You are probably right. Anytime when you see 'hard ball' flying, that tells you someone is pissed, which is not good for any kind of negotiation. It's a matter of communication and agents are key to the process. I guess not everyone can affort Alex Smith's agent.
  12. Quantify QB selection process.

Agree. This is definitely an empirical question. Untill we have data and evidence, it's anyone's guess. My observation, no matter how raw and limited it might be, was that Troy always had a better understanding of the game than Justin. Especially in 04, Justin seemed lack the ability to keep up...
  13. Quantify QB selection process.

I have a world of respect for JT, who is actually responsible of turning me into a football fan. :D Don't blame me. I came from another country and never watched football until a few years ago. I certainly agree that he is great in identifying talent and put them in a place to succeed. But to...
  14. Quantify QB selection process.

Thanks for your response. The foremost thing in predicting is identify the most influential predictors. Your point is that 40 times or performance in practice are not good predictors. This could be true. But there got to be some factors that are more important than others. The question is how...
  15. Quantify QB selection process.

In light of the recent discussion on selecting future QB, I have an idea to offer. I am starting a new thread because I think this topic deserves some in-depth analysis and a position of its own. Feel free to merge it with others if you see fit. First of all, why the need? JZ was chosen over TS...
  16. What games this year worry you the most?

None To me, the answer is none. If you ask which I think we might lose, I will give you scUM, Iowa, MSU, and Texas. But I don't really worry, mostly because there is no bad news about the team that make me worry. I worry the most when we have self-inflicted stuidities that prohibit us to...
  17. Rate a Position...Part 1..QB

If Smith were our starting QB in all 04 and 05, we certainly wouldn't have lost that many games. Troy only lost two games when he was starting. Edit: grad beat me to it. I've got to improve my typing speed.
