OL Nicholas Petit-Frere (1st Team All American, Tennessee Titans)

Is this finally payback for UF stealing Sharrif Floyd?

Greg Schiano (HC Rutgers Scarlet Knights)

But with the added bonus of genuine Ohio ties! EDIT: @sparcboxbuck beat me to it on the previous page.

WR Chris Olave (1st Team All B1G, 1st Team All-American, New Orleans Saints)

I remember going to watch Glenville vs Massillon in the playoffs. Glenville had Christian Bryant & Latwan Anderson, AKA the best secondary in OH. We couldn't figure out who this JR WR for Massillon was and why the Glenville boys couldn't cover him. A few years later, it became abundantly clear.

    2018 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I'll admit Browning was a stretch, but everybody else on that list was solid - Datish was 1st team all-B1G & Sims started over 100 games in the NFL. Both of those guys did well at multiple positions for OSU. As for only naming 5 guys in 10yrs... this is Meyer's 6th year at OSU. Name 1...

    2018 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Just off the top of my head... Sims, Datish, Cordle, Browning, & Mewhort all played both inside and out. Some of those guys played all 3 positions. JT recruited plenty of versatile OL.

TE Jeremy Ruckert (New York Jets)

So 1st team is 2nd best? Is this one of those "everybody is a winner" things?

DE Zach Harrison (All B1G, Atlanta Falcons)

Qualified for D1 state track meet in 3 events (all relays). He ran just north of 22.0 in the 200m and didn't qualify.

2018 FL DB Tyson Campbell (Georgia Signee)

Not bad for Southern Speed. Still not quite up to par with Ohio's best (Saine, Ginn) 8D

    WR Binjimen Victor (Birmingham Stallions)

Pretty sure that was from when he enrolled but I'm too lazy to cite my sources.

CB Kendall Sheffield (New York Jets)

He beat Austin Mack by 3 days.

Definitely a cheap shot by 12 Gauge :banger:

QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

Tate finished his career undefeated today with an 84-8 beatdown in the Nevada state title game. USA Today

    Don't forget Gaoteote :sneaky:

Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

And with his insane rationale for claiming former players, he can pretty much bring back anybody he wants.

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

OSU has a long way to go towards being the recruiting rankings standard bearer. That was my whole point. Nobody's close to Bama in that regard.

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

^ This. There's no doubt OSU staff is killing it this year. There's no doubt they're choosing, rather than recruiting. But Bama has set the bar so high, OSU has a long way to go to get to the point where it is defining any standards.
