Thanks for the link. I lurked over there some. The general consensus over there is that they are going to push our lines around and their quarterback (Betts) is the 2nd coming of Johnny Unitas. Apparently it's their game to lose.

I saw a similar thread on the Choklahma board and thought it would be fun to do the same thing comparing our 2005 projected starters vs. 2002. Oklahoma was comparing 2005 to 2000 when they won their last MNC. I'm not going to get into too much detail I'll just list the projected 2005 starters...
ESPN's draft board has Troy RB Dewhitt Betterson listed as 6'11 3/4" and 218 lbs.
I'm sure its just an error on ESPN's part (big surprise) but it's pretty funny to think about a running back with those proportions...
Nebraska also backed into the NC game in 2001 after getting stomped by Colorado in the Big 12 Championship game. Losing late in the year is is bad for your chances unless you play in the Big 12.
