I saw him play against Palmetto playing the CB position mostly, but I'll defer to genron187 since he follows Southwest football. He is that good at CB and can jump pretty high and also he scored a really incredible TD on an improbable reception as a WR. In others words, don't underestimate this...
Actually, my mistake on the districts, SW is going to be grouped in a different district for regular season play. But if I have this one right, Palmetto and SW could eventually wind up in the playoffs against each other.
DISTRICT 13

Columbus (Miami)

That's true about Art Kehoe, Miami lost a legend there. Don Soldinger, also a Miami legend, molded the great backs that came out of Miami in the past 10 years or so, and you of course know the greatness he had leading Miami Southridge High School as a head coach. I think he'd be a recruiting...
I think he is a good player, but he got phenomenally overhyped before the season began and had trouble against Northwestern in their loss in the state playoffs. I think Rutgers is definitely a better fit for him than Miami, because there are some aspects of his game that need improving and Miami...
Agreed. That's what I'd worry about for LJ going to Miami, I don't think he's going to get developed there (and that goes for a lot of players given the current situation). I watched LJ play this year and the kid can compete, he was the reason his team stayed in the game against Palmetto and...
Yes, FSU is a big mess, too.
One thing I will say in Randy Shannon's defense...he's getting top recruits out of Broward and Dade County, particularly the northern part of Miami is just feeding him top talent. That's his major draw, recruiting. I remember the day he was hired, and it was like a...
Miami just fired their OC Nix. It's going to be interesting, because Randy Shannon wanted to keep the 2 back system while Nix wanted to open it up. Wonder how that's going to affect Bryce's decision now, Eye on the U | Nix fired, wanted to open offense up
Knowing Miami fans they're glad Nix is...
Welcome.
Miami's got their own set problems starting with them now needing an OC (they fired their OC Nix in case anybody heard). Hopefully for their sake, they bring back the Chud from Cleveland. I'd also wish they'd bring back that RB coach they had from a few years back, Don Soldinger, you...
Baltimore is sure stinking up the Jets playoff chances, I hope that doesn't lead to a letdown for them.
If Fins had to lose, I'd actually like to see the Jets get it. As much as I consider the Jets are most hated enemy historically, I hate the Pats even more.
Berry's fine with his upper body strength. He really doesn't need to bulk up much more. When you see this guy up close, he's really packed. He seems to have worked on every last little muscle group on his body.
Take a look near the end and you'll see him catch the pass and go,

I've seen it only done a few times, here's his stats, High School Sports - MiamiHerald.com
13 receptions for 122 yards and 1 TD in his 3 year varsity career.
They had a pretty good QB this year in Kevin...
I asked someone more familiar with that area where he plays and it might not be out of the realm of possibilities for the Buckeyes, but they'd have to go after him a lot stronger at this point.
