When I went to see LJ's team play Jaamal Berry and my Palmetto team late last year, it was humid as can be. We have been getting down into the 40s here and it's in the 60s right now. Having played HS football here, I don't really remember a game that got into the 50s. Miami players tend to...
Excellent analogy. Northwestern has a few more in the pipeline. Watch out for QB Teddy Bridgewater in '11. He's gonna be on everyone's radar screen. He's a bit of Pryor in many ways.
The fast will consist of the Wichita, Kansas, running back living on nothing but water, tomato soup, vegetable juice and protein beverages for the duration of the ritual.
Having eaten at the student union at the Univ. of Miami on a few occasions (though many years ago), I can tell you most of...
They're two different types of backs, Hyde and Berry. I don't think there's going to be an issue there, but with some of the teams that are in the Big 10, sometimes you need a different kind of back depending on the setup. When I see Hyde on tape, I think of Mr. T inflicting massive amounts of...
Miami fans down here felt really bad not getting him, but I still think they got a good line class (about as good as they could hope for this year). They should be very happy that Hall even gave them such consideration.
The team that was probably the closest (other than tOSU of course) was Ole Miss. Florida, especially now with Tebow coming back, won't be doing the run. As Miami Palmetto (his high school) alums, we're all proud of Jaamal and very happy to see he is going somewhere where it's the best fit...
The fact that Miami is interested in him (and they usually get a lot of good LBs from in-state), should tell you of the kind of guy he is. Definitely let's get our hands on him.
From what I know, I concur. In addition, some of those other names on that list should also be okay (or are okay) knowing friend around the state of Florida.
2nd Team All-State Class 6A for LJ,
High School Sports Blog
That's exceptional for a junior in Florida.
One of the kids from my high school, Palmetto (same as Jaamal Berry) got 3rd team for kicker, Kevin Karpiak.
I think the da Ridge is going to be able to contend next year in it's district. (I keep hearing that chant from their games, Ridge get ready to roll). They should have done better last year, but nobody was going to stop Killian in that district. Palmetto needs something on its defensive side...
And I'll get to see more of him, as I often go on Palmetto's off-night to other games in the district, especially if they have playoff implications for Palmetto.
We'll just have to see where he winds up.
Ah on second thought, I found the posting, Lamarcus Joyner - Page 3 - Bucknuts Forum
I wonder if he's gonna go down to Southridge. That's in a district where Jaamal Berry's Panthers are playing, and I think one other Southwest player already transferred down there.
If that's the case, he would...
Let me say something about this kid,
HE IS THE TEAM.
What little success Ransom Everglades had (they are private school in southern Miami right along Biscayne Bay). It's not in a competitive league compared to something like where Jaamal Berry plays a bit further south at Miami Palmetto, but...
