BCast just reported on the ozone forum that CJ Barnett's knee injury is an ACL tear and he is likely done for the year.
Really unfortunate if true... i thought he played a great game yesterday. Very aggressive and showed great instincts breaking on the ball.
If Ohrian Johnson is the guy...
Considering both the fact that the capacity of Lambeau Field is almost greater than the population of Green Bay plus the large amount of alcohol that is consumed by the average visitor... a surprising number of families, opposing fans and drunks demand hotel rooms in the area. :D
It's obvious that playing at Lucas Oil Stadium meets the geographic and indoor priorities that many of the conference AD's will probably focus upon... but if the conference were to play the game outdoors i honestly think that renovated Lambeau is the best outdoor venue available in Big Ten...
I am very involved in high school tennis in Wisconsin and i was extremely happy to hear that Nelson Vick decided to come to Columbus. I have had the pleasure of working with Nelson in the past few years at Marquette HS and can tell you that he is an amazing kid who is destined for great things...
I understand that Tressel didn't want to miss a field goal early on so that we wouldn't lose momentum... but not even trying to kick it did exactly that.
I hope we can get things going here because we've no woken up the Penn State players and fans by letting them back in

Agree, there is no physical rule other than the fact that no other team can sign the player if the first team drafts him.
But again though, this signability situation is the dangerous issue. If the top players begin holding out and forcing small markets not to draft them, then we'll see a...
The general rule is that you play for the team that drafts you. It's already been pointed out that a number of players have bypassed this in professional sports over the last thirty years, but what does this mean for small markets like Milwaukee, Utah or Memphis if this practice becomes...
I pointed out that it is comparable to those cities not to convince you that Milwaukee is a cultural Mecca, but rather that is not any LESS cultured than the majority of other NBA cities or any other city in the Midwest for that matter. Like i said before, this isn't a Milwaukee only problem...
Give me a break Tibor... Have you ever been to Milwaukee? If you had, you'd see that it is extremely comparable to Pittsburgh or Cleveland. Cultural backwater? Give me a break
Secondly, Yi Jianlian was the best player available where the Bucks drafted. Other than teams in LA, New York...

Sounds like Brent is a good kid.
Here are some of the highlights of a recent article in a Madison newspaper about the text messaging of student athletes from D1 programs.
