Yeah, if he would just open up the offense more, all of our problems would be solved. We would have a more unpredictable offense and a more unpredictable season.

TP is definitely improving a lot, and a lot and a lot. His passing is getting better, but what's striking is his decision making. It's loads better. He's still a little tentative sometimes, but not NEARLY as much as just weeks ago. It's night and day. And, typically he's making decisive...
Ray is really one of my favorite Buckeyes, and IMO, he is an example of just how great of a coach we have in Jim Tressel.
I just went back through his thread-- just read 4 or 5 pages from about the 50-80 page mark... And man, has this kid been on a roller coaster ride. On page 50, it was all...
Your basketball point is well-noted, and a good one.
But--
Consider the difference between Florida and Okie St/TTech. Specifically- the coaches. Florida, with a historically not-particularly-impressive football team, followed on the success of Spurrier with the notion "we are going to become a...
Agreed.
In many ways, Illinois is a step down from UC at the moment.
But--
1) Cinci is in big economic trouble. They can't even sell out their 30,000 seat stadium or whatever. At least Illinois has better resources.
2) Speaking of which, Illinois could probably draw Kelly with the big dollar...
If ND/TSUN don't want him, perhaps he will replace the Zooker... his time at Illinois might be running short. If they're willing to put in the money, he'd be a good fit with midwest/ohio ties.

Pac-10 staging best BCS race, Michigan mulling Rich Rodriguez - Stewart Mandel - SI.com
Hey Stewart -- PLEASE tell me you were joking in your Nov. 15 column where you quoted Jim Tressel as saying that his team can take a couple days off this week because Michigan has no defense!

To be fair-- you don't have to be from either state to get it. You don't even have to be from the midwest.
You just have to sit down, and read an article about Woody Hayes or Bo. You have to watch an old version of The Game. You have to look at Cooper's record, and look at the talent he had...
I voted Pryor, Saine, and Homan.
I think Pryor will have a few plays of freak athleticism on third down. I fully expect this game to be closer than many of us think (at least during the first half). His legs will take the heart out of TSUN's D more than once, similar to what Troy did in '05...
IMO... Beanie's '06 run.
I'd feel more comfortable saying it if we had won the NCG that year. As it is, it's really close between that and Will Allen's int. But I'm thinking this in an "at the time" moment--so when Will Allen had that pick, I didn't know that would propel us to a NC win...
