In my opinion, the fact that there is uncertainty is telling. I imagine that if he were a high priority he would know it or at least have been given some strong hints before the dead period. Another key factor in understanding where Bryant stands would seem to be the fact that Walker was...
Wow, are you serious? These guys did not sell their Buckeye souls, they sold objects. They will always have the experiences and memories which is the important thing. As far as I know, they've given their all in their time as Buckeyes so it doesn't bother me that they've sold some momentos...
Been wondering about this, would there be any violation if the players had given the goods to a friend/family member as gifts and then that person had sold them? I assume not since the player would not have received cash directly for the goods. The friend/family member could then give money to...
Good to see Fields and TY Williams getting positive comments. I'm real interested in seeing how the competition for playing time goes there. Posey and Brown would seem to be the only locks. After that you've got Fields and the 5 Freshmen(Williams, James Louis, Verlon Reed, Evan Spencer and...
Penn State Recruiting 12/8/10 (Ben Kline Commits to PSU) | Victory Bell Rings
Copied this from Sturdivant's thread. I thought Walker was visiting OSU this weekend. I've had doubts for a while that he would be coming here and, if true, him not making the visit would seem to be the writing on the...
The guy I'm looking forward to seeing is Bradley Roby. He seems to have good size and plenty of athleticism but is fairly new to the CB position. He blew up his senior yr in high school and was underrated by the recruiting services (offers from Georgia, Bama and Auburn).
Also, WR seems to...
A Bryant offer would definitely bring some clarity but I wouldn't be surprised if there are no more bigs in this class. Everything I've heard is that Walker and Bryant both project to be guards and it seem like there are already plenty of interior linemen in this class.
Another interesting tidbit from the article:
I was thinking Moore was primarily a Safety but now it seems both he and Gorman offer some versatility. Hope the Bucks can land one of them.
Imagine the kid being all excited about his offer and then coming on BP to see what people are saying about him and seeing comments about it being a waste. Everyone has their opinions about who should be offered but the players' thread is not a good place to voice dissenting opinions.
Regardless of Bucknuts' method of delivering the news, it's great to hear that he has scheduled a visit. I still imagine it's a longshot but getting a visit bumps up the odds a little.
I remember people saying similar things when the Browns selected Ryan Pontbriand in the 5th round one year and it has turned out to be one of the best picks they made that year.
The staff knows their personnel better than the rest of us. McQuaide is a Senior this year and I'm guessing the...
Why do you say he has to be a WR at OSU? I don't see any reason he couldn't play RB. Not saying he should play one or the other but I don't think either (or DB) should be ruled out. Just bring him in and see where he fits best.
